Located on the top floor with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico, Emerald Surf 502 is the perfect accommodation for your next beach getaway! This two-bedroom, two bath unit sleeps up to six guests comfortably, with a King-size bed in the master bedroom, two twin-size beds in the guest bedroom and a Queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area. Enjoy easy access to the spacious balcony from the bedroom and living area as well as gorgeous views through the windows looking directly at the crystal-clear waters! The fully-equipped kitchen opens up to the dining area and living area, creating plenty of space and an at-home feel. Emerald Surf 502 has two televisions, cable, and two DVD players, along with DVD rentals during your stay! There is also an in-unit washer and dryer, for your convenience. Emerald Surf is located in beautiful and serene Navarre Beach, just a short drive from a variety of shopping areas, restaurants, and family entertainment. It is just under 10 miles from the Gulf Breeze Zoo, perfect for a family day out! The complex itself offers several amenities, including a community outdoor pool, an outdoor shower, and barbecue grills. There is also a walkway built near the outdoor pool that leads directly to the snow-white beaches! Take advantage of the covered parking as well.

It is very spacious with absolutely stunning views. Has its own beach access. Kitchen was very nice. The floor could have been mopped better there were sticky spots. The furniture is very outdated and quit frankly was not pleasant to look at. The master bath was not nice needs new bathtub the jets dont work and were not very clean.The master bed was not comfortable at all. The couch was very much in the way of the patio door.

Fabulous view!

Roomy enough for 4 to 6 people. Full kitchen is nice. Furnishings and decor could use an update. Right on the beach, so view is stunning. Keep the sliding door in master open a little at night so you can hear the waves. Bed in master is very comfortable, others not so much.

Glad to be at the beach

Online photos make this condo seem nicer than it actually is. Mismatched furniture and placement of the furniture makes it seem like they just threw in whatever they had left over. Couch was placed so close to the sliding glass door it made it difficult to get in and out. There is also no ice maker or ice trays or ice in the freezer. We were only there 2 nights, so we made the best of it and enjoyed the beach, but i would not want to stay in this condo for an entire week.

Property Review

The location is beautiful but the condo itself was very spartan and unwelcoming. TV was small and limited to cable and Netflix. It has potential but is not as nice as another unit in the same building. Not terrible but I would not recommend. We also had trouble getting internet the first night (working vacation) and the elevator was out of commission for one day. If owners would update interior and entertainment options, it would vastly improve the experience.

Online photos are old or edited. Not what it seems!!

Checkin process was simple. The place needs some serious TLC. The paint looks like it hasn’t been touched up in 7 years and there were missing tile pieces and a light bulb. The place was not very clean when we got there! It’s our first vacation with our newborn baby and we felt nasty being in there to be honest. The floors were coated in dirt so it’s a good thing we brought slippers. The rugs are so dirty you can see the discoloration in them. The king size bed was very comfortable but the sheets smelled like mildew. The two twin size beds feel like cardboard. We had to put blankets on the couches to sit on them. The showers both had black stuff in them and one of the drains were broken. The dishwasher was leaking. After the first night we really considered leaving we felt that uncomfortable being in there. The view was amazing. The management company needs to do better at cleaning and the owners should really put some love and work into their property.

the place was a great location, right on the beach. the couch in the place was very stained, and worn. the tv in the living room did not work. and the Beach was closed due to the construction. if the management had let us know that up front, we prolly wouldn't have rented the place. but otherwise it had great views and was adequate for our needs. the bed was great and all the bathroooms were clean.

Location. Location!

Small 5 story complex so the beaches aren’t packed, even week of July 4th. Nice and quiet! There are some owners that live there that were super nice and helpful too… except they kept giving my kids treats😂. But the small complex with low key beaches sold us. Stayed at several other places in Navarre but this is the one from now on

Smelled nice and fresh when entered, not an overbearing perfumey smell. Generally clean, neat, and nice. Older unit with older furniture. Nice view of beach. Pool area nice. Walkway needs some repair. We were there to be at the beach, not to stay inside. Couch pillows worn in some areas to through the cloth. Beds squeaked some when moving. Sofa bed mattress tolerable. Plastic porch chair cracked at top. Porch table permeated with mildew. Dryer lint catcher needs to be replaced (not fit well and dryer lint escapes into the dryer exhaust area). Dryer heats up room (can't tell if it is even connected to exterior vent pipe or if vent pipe needs to be cleaned out?). AC did not always keep it cool. AC filter had not been changed for a very long time. Replaced it with one in the closet. 1-2 inches of water in drain pain under ac unit (is drain plugged up, need to be cleaned out?) Jets in tub are filthy and need to be cleaned (brown scum). Bathroom sink and toilet seem to drain slow (clean out drainline?). Code to door is too long. Code to pool bathroom did not work. Need screen sink drain cover to keep things from going down the wrong side (opposite the disposal). Weather-strip on front door coming off at floor.

Low Rent Housing Units are Better than 502 Emerald Surf

I don't have room in this block to list everything. This is the worst unit I've ever even seen, much less booked. It was obvious even before we opened the door. At some point in the past a door lock was removed and the hole was stuffed with a paper towel. There are no rugs to wipe your feet, so the floor is filthy. The kitchen bar was loose and could fall over. There are very poorly mismatched floor tiles in the kitchen.. One bedroom has old, outdated drapes used as a closet door. All of the furniture in the unit is cheap, stained and worn out. There are no latches on the balcony door, instead there's a nasty PVC pipe that you have to place in the tracks as the lock. The guest bedroom has only once light, and you have to walk across the room in the dark to turn it on. The kitchen light consists of two 60 watt bulbs, only one of which works, hanging on a fixture with no cover. Just bald lights. There are only two throw pillows in the unit, and they are so threadbare that the stuffing is showing on the edges. The Keurig coffee maker doesn't work. The walls in the unit are scuffed and scared and in bad need of paint. The A/C unit drain is stopped up and standing in water, plus the filter is misfitted and nasty. The two tables are nasty, stained, and not fit to eat on. The bar is only one foot wide. The drapes in the master bedroom are ill-fitted and won't close out light. The master bath has rotting baseboards. I could go on. This place is horrible!

Overall it was good. Very clean but there was several outlets that didn’t work. Next to the bed in the 2nd bedroom so u didn’t have a lamp close or able to charge ur phone at night. The outlet on the deck didn’t work either. Loved the location, wasn’t crowded at all.

The best thing about this unit is the view

The kitchen chairs and living room sofas are soiled and stained so terribly we used towels and sheets to sit on. Day 2 the A/C went out resulting in a day lost at the beach and a 85° condo. Turns out it was out of Freon which has been an ongoing problem with this unit. For each person staying you’re provided 1 washcloth, which means having to wash laundry everyday. The master bed is extremely hard and squeaks with every little moment. The master bath sick was clogged. The vent in master bedroom does not let out any air leaving the room hot and unbearable. The unit was clean. The kitchen appliances all worked well. We will return to Navarre Beach, we will not stay at unit 502 at Emerald Surf. Please read all reviews before planning to stay at this unit.

Family Trip 2023

I only wish the reviews we read during booking measured up to what we encountered. Upon entry we were overwhelmed with the scent of strong Fabuloso and a thermostat on 80 degrees. After 3 calls to the unit manager and 5 hours later a maintenance person attempted to fix the problem. It appeared the air unit was frozen and out of Freon which I would think was the case when the cleaning people were there. Even with his efforts and one floor fan the unit did become tolerable and we made the best of a disappointing experience. The sofa and love seat are stained and we were hesitant to even access the hideaway bed. No dust pan could be located so we endured sand all week. The cleanliness was ok but could have been improved with a little effort. No handicap measures are available for the showers such as hand bars. The appliances worked good including the washer and dryer. We were provided with plenty of bath towels. There is also a beach service that was very accommodating. We didn’t expect a castle but would have enjoyed the week more had the unit been better maintained. As for Emerald Surf, I would highly recommend looking at other available units other than 502. Location, the resort staff, parking, and beach access is great. That is what we will do next year.
