This charming residence is nestled amidst a picturesque landscape of lush trees providing ample shade. You will enjoy lots of privacy in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood. This property has a beautiful level lake lot close to the water and boat dock.

Located in the very popular '2 foot cove', on Old Hickory Lake, you will have a view of the channel to watch the boats and barges travel up and down the river. Whether you rent a boat from a nearby marina, bring your own boat, or just enjoy the beauty and wildlife while relaxing, your stay will be unforgettable.

Perfect Lakeside Cabin

This small cabin has everything you could want. Great location on the lake and also great roads to walk on. Neighborhood was very friendly.

The location and cabin were terrific! Just as advertised. We had a wonderful and relaxing short vacation. The cabin is well-equipped and very clean. The host was wonderful with quick responses to my communications.

Lovely Cabin on the Water

The cabin is small but perfect for a couple (with their dogs). The water access is perfect. The bathroom is a tight fit, so we literally sat sideways on the toilet. The cabin sits in a cove that is a popular party spot. There can be noise from the boats and a lot of traffic to get out of the cove. If you want quiet, this might be a problem. If you want to party, it's perfect. The cabin allows dogs, which was perfect for us! The neighbor has a dog that he often lets run free. The dog was on our porch several times a day, barked at night, and hung in our yard a lot, which isn't always great when you have your dogs. The neighbor also likes to play music at 7:30 AM and 10:30 PM. The dock also has super sharp corners that can cause a lot of damage to your boat if you don't walk the boat in the slip. The walkway from the grass to the dock is loose rock that is a challenge for anyone but would be a real hazard to anyone with mobility issues. The cabin owner has no control over the cove traffic or the neighbor's behavior. The cabin is lovely and well designed. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would recommend the cabin to others.

Close to Nashville..walk around the neighborhood. Dog loved having the lake so close. Loved the screen porch! Had everything you needed!

Safe, clean, just right for 2 and our dog

Clean and in a good area that feels safe. Great river view from screened porch rockers. Convenient parking. Big kitchen, decently equipped. Nice leather couches in living area and comfy beds in bedrooms. Not a luxury property but comfortable and functional place to stay. The toilet might be hard to access for someone with limited mobility due to narrow space. Bring your own soap and shampoo for shower. We would stay here again!

Best little cottage stay

Had an amazing stay. Great host, cottage is beautiful and amazing location. So peaceful and loved all the wildlife. Wish i could stay longer. will definitely be back. Thanks for a great birthday break.

Great place to stay

This house was fabulous. It was very comfortable, and has everything you needed. I think it was the best stocked kitchen of anyplace I have stayed. The bed is comfortable. And the location is absolutely fabulous. You have a dock, and great access to the Cumberland River. I did not know what “Two Foot Cove” was, so I was a little shocked that right in front of the property is a big party place where boats tie up. It was far enough away that it was not uncomfortable for me, but it could get loud, and people would camp overnight. I enjoyed my stay immensely.

Girls Week

Quaint cottage on beautiful lake for visiting friends living in the Nashville area. Host is quick to respond. Spacious screened porch. Cozy living room. Fully stocked kitchen. Nice dock. Great having the canoe to get out on the water. Rocky bottom and seaweed to walk out and get on a float. Overall great stay!

Clean cute cabin

Small cabin- very clean. Best part is the screened in back porch. Nice sunset as you walk toward water. Fun to watch the boats. It would have been nice to have a way to easily get in/out of water from the pier. Bring a raft or floating device so you can enjoy the water.

Nashville conference

We had a wonderful time at this Great Lake home! The house is very clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helped us locate the closest boat launch for our fishing boat. I attended my conference in Nashville for some of the time and my husband was able to get some fishing done. I would definitely rent this home again when we are in the area!

Great location

We really enjoyed staying here. Great location on the lake and close to everything. Good ramp nearby to launch the boat. The house was clean and loved relaxing on the screened in porch. We enjoyed talking with the neighbor, Matt, who was keeping the drift and dock area cleaned up, and kept a campfire going everyday! Hope to be back!

Perfect stay!

My husband and I have rented many, many properties on our travels over the last few years. We agree that this is our favorite so far. The house was so comfy … I could sleep on that couch! Our granddaughters were thrilled with the Dolly Parton connection… kept looking next door hoping to see her! I’m a birder and they were amazing. My husband wanted to fish but we ran out of time. Definitely will stay longer next time. Sandy was so helpful!
