Music City River Retreat is hidden away on a residential street less than a mile from The Grand Ole Opry, Opryland Resort and Convention Center, Opry Mills Mall and great restaurants and bars. You won't even realize how close to the action you are when you are relaxing watching the river and the wildlife in the yard. It is a two story house with an open floor plan that includes the family room, kitchen and eating area. This area has real hardwood floors and is great for entertaining. There is a 52 inch flat screen TV above the gas fireplace in the family room with bose speaker surround sound, cd player, HD cable, blu ray player and WIFI internet connection. The Master Bedroom and a small bedroom are downstairs and there are two bedrooms upstairs. A scene from the film 'Lukewarm' with John Schneider and Jet Jurgensmeyer was filmed here in 2012. The house was also featured in a weather channel show called 'Twist of Fate', season 1 episode 6 and 'The Ellen Show' about the 2010 Nashville Flood.

This was our second time visiting Bill And Anne‘s home. There were five of us having a mini family reunion for Thanksgiving. This home is perfect for a small or large family. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of room to gather and share a meal. They were very easy to contact with any questions and minor issue quickly resolved. Bill and Anne have spared no expense in making us feel like we are at home as opposed to a vacation rental. We will definitely be back when visiting the Nashville area again.

The home was clean with plenty of room to spread out. The location was perfect. Close to airport, close to golf courses, and close to downtown. Sitting on the deck in the evening was perfect watching the occasional barge cruise by, and the game room topped it off for our down time at the house. Definitely recommend this property.

Celebrated 21st and 30th birthdays with family. Lots of entertainment and great location. Spent time in downtown Nashville and loved coming back to a quiet retreat. The river view and access was an added bonus. We definitely would recommend!

This house had amazing views and everything my kids wanted. They took full advantage of the pool and the arcade. The adults really enjoyed the retro arcade system. The owners were quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything.

This was, by far, the best home rental experience we’ve ever had. The house was so beautiful with very comfortable beds and furniture, river views, every amenity we could have imagined, incredibly clean, and had so many wonderful extra nice touches. The owners, Bill and Anne, were extremely accommodating and great communicators. We will definitely be back!

Could not have been better

We had all our family here for our fifty year anniversary. The property is fantastic and the owners a pleasure to meet. During the day, when not out exploring Nashville, we found peace and comfort just sitting on the back porch watching the river go by with the occasional barge traffic. We also enjoyed seeing the Cardinals, squirrels, mother fox with her babies, a groundhog, and bunnies. In the evenings we enjoyed the firefly's as well as a fire on the outside deck. Some relaxed in the pool and others spent time successfully fishing from the floating dock. At night the game room served as a gathering place with something interesting to do for all ages. We could not have found a more quiet and peaceful location so close to downtown Nashville. We highly recommend this location.

Wonderful!

Just got back from a weekend with friends and the house was just what we needed. The six of us enjoyed the back porch with river view as we relaxed and reconnected. We went down to Broadway one afternoon (just 10 minutes away) and were happy to have the peace and quiet when we got back to the house. Plenty of games to entertain also.

Quiet getaway perfect for all ages

One of the most surprising things was how quiet it was. Even though it's really close to major attractions and a huge mall, it is super quiet! We went in late December and caught fish every day from the dock. We enjoyed the game room - the variety of games is amazing and serves all ages. The hosts are extremely nice and kind, were incredibly communicative, and are probably the best hosts of anywhere we've stayed. Definitely recommend!!

Great place to hang out!

This is an amazing property on a great location. The view of the Cumberland River in the backyard is amazing. The game room was a blast and well utilized, which really helped to avoid having to go elsewhere for entertainment. Easy communication with the owners. We will definitely come here again, but will come during warmer weather to take full advantage of the outdoor amenities!

Hidden Quiet Gem with easy access to all!

We stayed at the Music City River Retreat to celebrate our son’s 21st Birthday. We are so happy we settled on this house. The location and amenities of the house were incredible. We felt more like we were on a secluded mountain retreat than a mile to the Grand Ole Opry or a short drive to Broadway. We enjoyed every morning on the back porch drinking coffee, reading books and watching the birds. We spent our free time fishing from the dock, kayaking on the river, playing in the game room, lounging in the hot tub or enjoying a movie together snuggled on the huge sectional in the living room. The beds were comfortable & we all slept well after our long days enjoying Nashville & the surrounding areas. The shower in the master bedroom with the rainfall shower head was so relaxing. The house could benefit from a bit of TLC plus organization of the provided supplies (games, kitchen supplies, game room all had a ton of provided items but there was no rhyme or reason to where things were stored so we were constantly opening cupboards trying to find what we needed). Communication with the owners was prompt & helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here on any future trips we take to Nashville!

Perfect location for our annual get together 10-15 min from downtown but most of the time was spent enjoying the arcade room and the pool. Would definitely recommend!

The location is perfect! The house is clean! The game room is so fun! The pool is brand new! The owners communicate excellant. Our only suggestion to future people is Uber to Nashville it’s great and if u use instacart they can not find this house they go to the Wyndham lolol. Great house

Amazing property

Wonderful accommodations. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to Nashville. Could have used more garbage bags & paper products but we were just a short trip to the grocery store. Thanks for making my birthday trip so memorable.

House is incredible, location is awesome, Host is accommodating!

The house is beautiful and is as advertised. The game room is awesome, location on the river is beautiful and there is a boat ramp to launch the kayaks. The host was awesome with communication and they were very accommodating. We would definitely home back and stay again. Lots to do around and about 15 minutes from Broadway depending on traffic.
