The first impression of walking into this hotel is amazing and made me super excited to stay there. The room itself was unimpressive. The bathroom was outdated- regular tub with a shower curtain, water pressure was not great and the shower head wasn’t adjustable. No exhaust fan in the bathroom means it gets humid & steamy in there during the shower, so then you need to leave the door open and wait a few minutes afterwards before getting ready.
The pool and hot tub are a decent size and there is plenty of seating on the pool deck. There was a bar at the pool with menus but the bartender said we weren’t allowed to order food to the pool - we’d have to go down to the restaurant ourselves to get food then bring it up to the pool.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of housekeeping. On the days they came, it wasn’t until around dinner time that they came. There were also days that they just never came to service our room at all and we had to go grab towels from a housekeeping cart ourselves.
Overall, for what this particular hotel costs, we will choose a different hotel next time.
