Now with high speed FIBEROPTIC wifi. This unique Log Cabin with fireplace that sleeps six people, has two bedrooms and a loft. It has style all its own, close to Nashville, (in normal traffic about 30 min to airport and Downtown Nashville) (also newly finished Legacy park at LongHollow has basketball courts, frisbee golf and pickle ball courts, cabin has balls and rackets)
Once owned by June & Johnny Cash this property has music history. "Johnny Cabin" sits on treed acreage. The original cabin structure pre-civil war era was reconstructed on this property by famed preservationist builder Braxton Dixon. The cabin has been beautifully renovated with careful attention to providing modern comfort along with beautiful interiors. There are antiques found locally and original to the cabin when we purchased it. Full size modern kitchen with new appliances, bathroom with oversized tile shower and stack washer and dryer. The right place to compose, create or have a great getaway with family and friends. There is a second cabin several hundred feet away on the same acreage, also once owned by the Cash family, also available “Log Cabin Dreamy Loft Suite”

Very responsive host, thoughtful holiday decor, large bathroom and kitchen. We loved hanging by the fire. Close enough to go to downtown and various sightseeing places, but tucked away for quiet and restful recovery!

The cabin was immaculate, everything in every room was cozy and comfortable. The hosts are welcoming, responsive and professional. The setting is unique and makes for a wonderful experience. The wood burning fireplace is the icing on the cake. It’s our second visit and we hope to return soon.

The owner contacted us with details immediately after confirming the reservation. The cabin is very comfortable and roomy. Nice place out of town with rocking chairs on the porch. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well supplied for meal preparation. We enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved staying in the Johnny cabin! What a wonderful vacation we had and staying there was one of our highlights. We were visiting our family in White House and the location of the cabin was perfect for us. We loved that it wasn’t far from Nashville. We will definitely make this cabin our home away from home one other thing… the kitchen is fully stocked for those of you that love to cook. I enjoyed cooking our breakfast and many dinners.

Family Trip for softball

We came up from Texas for my daughters softballTournament, we really enjoyed the stay, my younger kids had the loft. Really neat that this was owned my Johnny Cash, a lot of history here.The location is great, close to town but far enough away that it’s quiet and peaceful. We definitely want to make a trip back to do the site seeing we weren’t able to this visit. If this cabin is available we would love to book again.
