Experience the ultimate secluded retreat in the beautiful setting of Brown County at our wooded cabin nestled on Red Rose Ridge. This horse ranch cabin getaway accommodates up to six guests, with a loft master bedroom featuring an adjustable Queen Bed and a full bath, providing a breathtaking view overlooking the living room and cozy fireplace. The main floor offers another comfortable bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom, while the windowed setting area boasts a serta beauty rest trundle bed and provides a serene treetop experience. Stay connected with high-speed internet throughout the house, and indulge in the country kitchen that offers a delightful view of deer playing on the ridge. The dining area features a unique tree trunk table for six, and Smart TVs are available throughout the cabin. Unwind in the hot tub for six, which offers a captivating vista of the ridge. The peaceful porch offers two perspectives: one overlooking the ridge, and the other providing a view of the pasture, where you can bring your own horses to enjoy the park or marvel at the Ranch Mini Horses' playful antics. The Horseman Camp is just minutes away, and in the walk-out basement, you'll find a game room and a convenient half bath. The game room offers various entertainment options, including giant Jenga, dominoes, Connect Four, shuffleboard, putter golf, and more. Explore the nearby creek and discover an Indian Trail Marker Tree, confirmed to be over 200 years old. As you enter the property, rustic board fencing lines the drive, and a large parking lot is available for trailers. If you're seeking a quiet place to relax, just minutes away from Nashville and Columbus, with a distinctive cowboy feel, this is the perfect destination. You'll also enjoy proximity to Story Inn, The Sycamore Saloon, Hard Truth, Mount Liberty Farm, and many more attractions. We offer horse accommodation at $50 per horse per stay, with two turn-out lots and loafing sheds available. We are pet friendly there is a $75 pet fee. The Brown County Horseman's Campground is only a 10-minute drive away, ensuring convenience for equestrian enthusiasts.

We loved the place! It had literally everything you needed in a kitchen! Hot tub was amazing, and they had robes to wear! Fire place was awesome and the decor was great. Lots to do down in the game room. After trying to call us on our first night, the owner showed up to the cabin to make sure we had water. They live on the same property, but you cannot see their house. He stated they didn’t have any water at their place and wanted to make sure that we were good. I thought that was awesome and really appreciated that, very good host.

Host was very responsive. The location of the property was beautiful. The property itself has beautiful hardwood floors and a great wood-burning fireplace.

This is probably the 5th VRBO property we have stayed and i have never rated one as poor. The downstairs bedroom has a very comfortable bed but no nightstand on either side of the bed. Big closet with 3 hangers in it. No hooks anywhere on walls or door, no dresser (could have one in the closet), shelves, nothing. Nowhere to put anything. The downstairs bathroom is tiny. No complementary anything. Pom toilet paper, it doesnt get worse than Pom. The only wascloth was the black one for makeup removal. The towels for the hot tub were very old and very thin. The previous renters may have used a soap bomb in the tub. All different colors of soap scum would bubble up on the sides - yuck. As you walk up the steps to the cabin, there are decorations setting around, on the walls, dried flowers, etc. that are just plain dirty. The dirt is from a lot further back than this winter. It just looks neglected. Lots of dried flowers, vases everywhere that are old and faded using up space. Even in the tiny kitchen there is little space to work. The coffee supplies take up one counter, another has plastic cactus on it. Everything looked like it needed a good cleaning. There was nothing complementary, a milk crate of wood was 8 - that should have been free given the cost of the cabin. We brought a puzzle. There was a great glass-topped table for it. Big flower arrangement n the floor under the table, one on top. I had to clean the table top to put the puzzle. There was nowhere to put our things.

This is as the best stay I have ever had. Everyone slept great on the comfortable beds, we laugh so hard Friday night when playing with the board games provided. The horses was adorable and friendly. The cabin was as very cleaned, the cabin was spacious and decorated. The host was the best I very had. I highly recommend you staying here, I know I will b staying here again.

The cabin was perfect! The hosts have pretty much anything you need for the stay. The property is secluded yet close to Nashville and Columbus. My son loved seeing the ponies right outside the window and all the activities in the game room. It was an excellent place to enjoy our family fall break.

The home was cozy. We were unaware that it sits on a hill, requiring multiple (kinda dangerous & exhausting) trips up and down to visit with the horses, sit at the fire pit, etc....Definitely not for those with ambulation difficulties. There were no hangers in the closet, nor are there any dressers available for clothes, so plan on living out of your suitcases. Our top sheet on our downstairs bed was stained. The body wash in the downstairs bathroom was empty.

Pretty nice

Most things were great. The scenery was nice. The cabin was super cute. It was very clean. The driveway was almost impassable for our Ford Fusion though. It's insanely steep and gravel with washed out areas from the rain. Use caution.The kitchen has utensils, but if you actually plan on cooking make sure you bring pans, sprays, and spices.They do supply stuff for the coffee bar and some bathroom supplies, but we're very low in stock, so make sure to bring your own just in case. Would stay again though.

Amazing Stay

This cabin was absolutely perfect for a family vacation. We happen to be visiting Brown County during a heat wave which made it hard to be out hiking or shopping but this cabin comes equipped with an awesome game room in the basement. The host really thought of everything, there was air hockey, shuffle board, foosball, and many more games to play including an arcade game with so many games it was hard to choose! The cabin was set up perfectly for a family stay, we had everything we needed. The owners came to feed the ponies in the evening and were so friendly, they told us more about the property and the history. Overall it was a perfect vacation, will definitely look to book with them again.
