5 Min to Nashville | Hot Tub & Peaceful Lake Views 3BR, 2BA

Within 5 minutes from Nashville, Gimme a Break is a vacation cabin that you cannot miss. Although close to Nashville, you are on a gorgeous piece of property in Brown County, Indiana. The cabin has a gorgeous view of Greenbriar Lake. While that is a private lake and it OFF LIMITS, the view out the front the of cabin is so peaceful. There is a circular drive so room for your family and you to make plenty of memories.

There is a covered patio on the front of the vacation cabin and just a couple of steps in to the cabin. There are no other steps in this home.

As you enter into the cabin, there is a seasonal gas fireplace right in front of you in the cozy living room. Turn to the right and walk down the hallway to find a full bath with tub/shower combination. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed (single on top and queen on bottom). To the left of the living room you will find the beautiful master suite with full bath (shower only).

There is a separate dining room and full kitchen with all the appliances and pots/pans and baking dishes to make a family feast. You can stream movies and sports events on the big TV on your own Netflix, Hulu or other entertainment service

On the back of the cabin is a nice big yard for your family to enjoy some Brown County fun if you bring any yard games with you. There is a covered screened in porch and a hot tub to soak those bones after a long day of shopping in the town of Nashville.

If you want to be close by all that Nashville has to offer, you could not make a better choice than Gimme a Break! This is a wonderful retreat while exploring all of the village’s 250-plus shops and craft galleries that are renowned throughout the Midwest. While here, be sure to check out all that Brown County has to offer!

House was very nice. Clean, roomy. Hot tub was wonderful. Well appointed kitchen, only wish was that there would have been coffee available. I don’t normally travel with my own and most all vrbo’s I have stayed at have coffee available. Def not a deal breaker and I would certainly stay there again! Had a great girls weekend!

One of the best I’ve even stayed in!

Such an amazing property! The nature and beauty surrounding the cabin is what makes this place magical. We saw deer and geese wandering around often. The bedrooms are a great size and the place was very clean and cozy! One of my favorite places by far! The staff at the office, especially Tammy & Julie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable! By far the BEST & friendliest management company I’ve ever experienced!
Loved seeing the deer family often.
Such beauty all around.

Long weekend

Perfect little house in the woods away from the crowds of Bloomington. Well equipped kitchen for making meals and entertaining. Backyard is fun with the games and fire pit. Hot tub was immaculate. Front porch has a lovely view of the lake. Showers in both bathrooms were a little challenging for our 80 year old family.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely setting

We had an absolutely lovely stay, despite a power outage due to some terrific storms that passed through. Fortunately for us, the power was quickly restored. We thoroughly enjoyed the gas fireplace - made everything feel so cozy! I do wish that we could have checked in without making the additional trip over to the office, which also added time on to our trip back to the airport to drop off the key, but that's a pretty nominal complaint.

Beautiful!

It was a lovely stay! The only thing we had a problem with was the stove and they jumped right on it! Great service! Even though we only heated water for tea I was very impressed on how well the kitchen was stocked. It was a wonderful time.

Cabin was clean, and just as described online. House well equipped with more than the standard rental. We had a small issue with the fireplace starting, made a call to the check in office and they were there to fix within 30 mins. Great service! Hot tub was clean & working. Wonderful place to stay.

Great weekend getaway

Great location for doing things in Bloomington and Nashville. The hot tub is on a screened in porch which is fabulous. Lots of games and seating for your group. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

We loved the location of this property! Wooded area behind it made it very private and great for enjoying nature by the fire and it was only about 5 minutes from everything in downtown Nashville! Property was clean and stocked with all the items we needed. Plenty of space inside for our girls trip! Staff was all super friendly and helpful. Our only downside was the previous guests broke the hot tub so we weren’t able to use it which we found out upon checkin. Would recommend this property to large families or groups wanting a getaway.
