Although we were shocked when we first got there, the room was lovely, the bed was so comfortable and had a lovely bathroom area.
Although the lock on the bathroom didn’t work and locked someone in, it was a great bathroom with counter space, and a lovely shower.
There was also a nice balcony and if some skyscrapers weren’t there we would’ve had a view of Mt Vesuvius, but could still see some elements of natural beauty through gaps in building or road clearings on the roundabout.
The staff were very helpful and kind, however we never interacted with them in person, it was all via WhatsApp or calls, they were very quick and helpful with their replies and would check in some days to make sure we were okay and didn’t need a room refresher.
The location wasn’t as close to the centre as I initially thought, however it was lovely to start the day by getting a coffee from one of the local cafes then having a 40+ minute walk to the centre (depending on what part of the centre you’re going to) and a simple walk only following like 2 streets.
Just to caution that the lift costs 10 cent every time you use it, we didn’t have cash that small so had to walk up and down about 6 flights of stairs every time we left and returned to the room. It operates as cash only.
But overall a lovely place and a lovely city, could not recommend it enough!
