Another Bulldog Vacations beauty!

Stay in one of Napa Valley’s oldest homes with a Brand New Hot Tub! Built in the 1880's, this remodeled historic gem located next to Fuller Park is full of quirk and charm with a lovely private backyard. Just steps from world-class restaurants, nightlife, Wine Train, tasting rooms, shopping, festivals, theater! Taste during the day at one of over 40+ tasting rooms in downtown Napa and stop by the house to freshen up, stroll to a fabulous dinner!
Licensed short term rental, TOT (Transient Occupancy Tax) collected when you book. DO NOT book a short term rental that doesn't collect tax. These are illegal units and the city is aggressively shutting them down without notice leaving many travelers stranded.
Guests are free to contact host at any time with questions using their booking platform messaging system.
Beautiful, historic, redwood tree lined streets adjacent to Fuller Park in Downtown Napa.

Guests have access to the entire house and yard (minus the garage). Driveway and street parking available.
Remodeled in Spring 2021, 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, stunning kitchen and baths, air conditioning and furnace, spacious backyard great for enjoying the Napa Valley lifestyle. Lots of quirk and charm remain in this clean gem!

Sleeping arrangements are as follows:

- the downstairs bedroom has 1 queen-size bed
- the living room has 1 queen-sized sleeper sofa
- the upstairs "dollhouse"style bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed, cute and quaint sloped attic/loft
- 1 Bathroom downstairs and 1 bathroom upstairs

We ask that our guests understand that this remodeled cottage home (recently updated with numerous modern amenities) is almost 150 years old. She is full of charm with sloped attic ceilings. Considering her age, she is crooked and creaks. If such things will be bothersome to you, we can suggest more modern accommodation that may be more suited to your taste.
Easy access to Downtown Napa and wineries - many guests rent cars, walk to downtown, or use Uber/Lyft, which are readily available at all hours.

Excellent stay

We had a great time staying during our girls trip with my mom, sister, and nieces. We easily walked downtown for dinner and I loved going for a run and taking the trail through downtown and along the water. We enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day! Highly recommend!

CELEBRATING MY CHILDHOOD BFF'S BAY

The actual house did not look at nice as the VRBO listing. The number of rooms was misleading, the bathroom upstairs was not functional, the downstairs bedroom door to bathroom was permanently stuck, the AC system was a pain to use (the host did give details about this), the coffee maker was dirty & unusable, the outdoor space was not clean & landscaped. It could be a great location if the host spent more time & money on the house

Birthday in wine country

We give our children a trip each year for their birthdays. This year, our son and his wife chose Napa. The house was perfectly located in Napa, within walking distance of high quality restaurants, and short driving distances to the wineries we visited. The beds were comfy, and we loved unwinding every night in the awesome hot tub!

Thanksgiving in Napa

We had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving holiday week. The property was clean, centrally located in downtown, and had a huge backyard. Our in-laws live in Napa and our family has gotten to big for all of us to stay with them, so this was a great option for us! Additional bedrooms and bathrooms, while our home base was still with our relatives. The owners were very helpful and responsive.

Nice little spot near downtown Napa

Nice little house near downtown - was great for our wine vacation with friends. Good private landing spot to chill in the evenings with the hot tub, etc. rather than just being in hotel rooms.

Girls Trip

From the moment we checked in, it felt like home. Great spot to relax and enjoy the trip. Very close walks to great places to eat, quick and easy Uber trips to wine country and great spot to enjoy down time by the fire pit in the back yard! We will be back again!

Charming House

We loved our stay here! The house was clean, well appointed and in a great area. Short walk to Downtown. We loved the uniqueness of this older home, with its odd angles and creaks. It has a lot of character, but is updated in all the right places. We would definitely rent it again.

We stayed for three nights as a family of 6 at this property, a short walking distance from downtown Napa. The property was as advertised -- a slightly older home, meaning some creakiness as we expected. There were some missing and broken things in the home (an ironing board cover, a broken window lock, and the upstairs smoke detector went off whenever we showered) that made our stay slightly inconvenient, though our hosts addressed these concerns immediately, which we appreciated. Overall, we loved this property for the sizeable backyard and the proximity to downtown Napa. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

I am too tall for this place

The location was excellent. Ease of access to everything was the best part. However, the 2nd story was for short people. My head still hurts from hitting the ceiling and ducking into the shower. The beds slept nice. Also the smoke detector went off anytime you took more than a 3 minute shower upstairs. Kind of off putting.

Victorian house with a renovated kitchen fully equipped. Cozy private backyard ideal for a family dinner. We didn't use the hot tub. Located in a quiet neighborhood and quite close to downtown. Check in process simple. I highly recommend this property.

Friends wine country getaway

We absolutely loved this property. It had ample room for all four of us to spread out, to enjoy sitting with a glass of wine at night or cup of coffee in the morning. The hot tub was perfect for a late night soak. The neighborhood was quiet and so quaint. We enjoyed walking and looking at the beautiful homes. The cottage was within walking distance of a wonderful breakfast bakery, Monday Bakery - highly recommend. Also ate supper at Don Giovanni which was fantastic! Visited Jarvis, Silver Oak, Sterling, Picayune in Calistoga, Piccobar as well as Oakville Grocery. We are already planning our return trip!

Wine trip

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Walking distance to downtown Napa! Very clean with all the right amenities. The hot tub is kept warm and ready for you after a day of exploring Napa! Plenty of games stocked by the host and lots of kitchen accessories to use. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Great house and location

The house was in a perfect location to anything you wish on the valley. Either by car or walking. The house is a heritage house, but has been updated nicely. My wife and I stayed with another couple and found the house to be just the right size for what we needed.
