Immaculate & Updated 4BR - steps to Town and Beach.

Fresh and comfortable newer home in Town. Features quality appliances, amenities, central air, and heat. The “Spirit of '76” has a top location – steps from The Creeks where kayaking and bird-watching abound, minutes from Town restaurants and shops, and just a short drive/bike ride to airport and surfing beaches that have been voted best in the world.

First Floor:
Out front you have a well-manicured yard, 2 parking spots, and colorful window boxes adorned with seasonal color. As you enter the house you are treated to a friendly and inviting, open floor plan. On your right is a cozy, private, and bright sitting room with French doors. You move past this room into a large living room perfect for big gatherings where you can entertain and cook at the same time. A bar with wine cooler compliments the 7-person dining table and sideboard. Kitchen has an Italian Bertzionni 5-burner stove and oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, cherry cabinets and white Italian marble counter tops. Laundry room with new washer and dryer is right off the kitchen.

Enjoy evenings out back on the mahogany deck with bench which features a teak dining table and 6 chairs plus a gas grill. Stone patio and garden are surrounded by privet and fence. The private outdoor shower offers the perfect finish to a beach day on ACK. Four bikes available to use at your own risk.

Second Floor:
Master bedroom with king bed, balcony, and large screen television. Master bath has hydrotherapy bath, custom-tiled separate shower with jets, double sinks, and custom cherry trim.

Three additional bedrooms: 1) queen bed with full bath; 2) two twin beds with a full bath (and tub); 3) single twin bed.

The entire house is comfortable, clean, updated and fresh!

Our family had the best experience in Nantucket. The home was so welcoming, it really set the tone for the trip. We enjoyed wonderful time through the island and were always excited to return to home which is so conducive to family or friends spending quality time together. We loved the home, so well-appointed with each room having such unique charm. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio, dining, playing games and enjoying the garden, perfect serenity. The property location was perfect, near town and within a short walk to the most lovely beach. Our host, Amy, was outstanding in every way, so accommodating and kind. She even reached out after our stay regarding a few items left at her home that ensured were shipped and returned to us. I can't speak more highly of the experience. We can't wait to return! Ladies Getaway to celebrate big birthday!

This was the perfect getaway spot. We were a group of ladies celebrating a big birthday. The birthday girl requested "cozy" and this was it! Even though the house was cozy w3e had a ton of room for all of us. The kitchen was a nice size for all to gather around the island and was well equipped. The living room had room for everyone around the fireplace where we played a few games and enjoyed the cozy fire. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms upstairs it was plenty of room for everyone. The beds were very comfy as well. The location was perfect for a short walk into town. We walked everywhere including the beach which was very close by. Overall a great couple of days in Nantucket!

Great house

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. The living spaces are perfect and the kitchen is comfortable and well-equipped. The house is immaculate. It’s close to town so everything is walkable, but there’s some traffic noise that comes with being in .

Amazing

Awesome location, amenities (we loved the bikes/beach towels/chairs). Kitchen and grill are a perfect touch. Would highly recommend! Amy was super communicative/prompt and kind. So close to town (short walk or bike ride), right near the restaurants/shopping and not far from the beach!

Spirit of ‘76

Terrific house, beautifully appointed in nautical/ Nantucket themes. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. All on suite baths which was wonderful. Bikes available and this made a huge difference as Nantucket is a very bikeable island. Also free Wave bus was a plus and stops are close to house.

Perfect family getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Spirit of 76. Amy is a kind and thoughtful host with a beautiful home that truly has everything you could ever need - a close walk to town, nearby beach that’s perfect for kids, a sweet little back patio with a large table for family dining - truly the perfect place for a family vacation. We had a blast!

Fun family vacation

Amy is a wonderful host and the property is perfect for groups. The home layout is conducive to socializing and the furniture is comfortable for poor weather days when you need to stay inside. You might need a white noise App if you are a light sleeper because the roadside bedrooms can hear the large trucks that come by during the day (starting around 7:30 am). That is an easy solution and worth having proximity to town. Overall, we loved the property and highly recommend it. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Absolutely wonderful!

The Spirit of ‘76 house is a stunningly gorgeous property, and the perfect spot for our weekend on Nantucket. We comfortably fit our group of five, and we easily could have added more with the amount of space and amenities available to us. We loved that it was a short 10 minute stroll into town, and we took advantage of the bikes in the shed for some sightseeing. Our host Amy was a delight and communicated quickly up to and during our stay. We are already planning to return next summer for another weekend. Thank you!

Perfect location and very well kept house

The Spirit of 76 was a perfect house for a long weekend. The house sleeps 7 with 4 bedrooms and was just the right layout for our group. Multiple bathrooms and showers made it easy to get ready and the 10 minute walk into town allowed us to easily walk into town. The house has all the amenities you would need and was very well kept. Amy was a great host and was easy to get in contact with, and provided great instructions and was very attentive. We would definitely book again!

Fantastic Stay in Nantucket

Our family had a great stay at this home. It was myself, my husband and our 4 children under 12 years old. The location of the house was perfect for us, taking less than 10 minutes to walk into town. The house was super clean and well appointed. They had all the things that you would need for a beach vacation..beach chairs, towels, coolers, kadima paddles. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We had such a great time, that we decided to extend our trip, and although the house was booked right after us, the host tried to help us find housing elsewhere. We had a wonderful experience here and are already looking forward to next year!

Great ACK Location!

We had a lovely stay in this home; it is comfortably laid out regardless of your group size and an easy walk to town when you wish to do so. It is an ideal home base location when you get all over the island as we do and a very clean and comfortable home to spend your down time in. Great water pressure, comfortable beds and the best stocked kitchen we have experienced. Thank you for having us!

Spacious house on the edge of town with modern amenities and lovely decor

Accurate listing; beautiful Nantucket decor with local artisan’s pieces such as Don Freedman. Main living room/kitchen with open floor plan downstairs as well as separate formal living room. Fabulous library with books on Nantucket, novels from classics to modern and some history as well. Upstairs 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 1/2 bath downstairs. Great showers/tubs. Super clean, well stocked kitchen with 6 gas burner industrial stove. . Thoughtful touches such as beach toys/towels/chairs/games. Central AC. Back of house with charming walled garden/sitting area/porch with huge grill. Master bedroom has lovely view of the ocean and marshes and is quiet. Other bedrooms face Union Street, and there is a lot of traffic noise/lights at night; might bother some. All beds/bedrooms with nice linens/mattresses, beautiful decor, spacious dressers/closets. Parking spots can be challenging to back out of as Union street is the main route into town; however, someone eventually lets you in (unlike Boston where I’m from.) But this might be a consideration if you’re not used to traffic/tight parking. Owner was very responsive, great communication. Our favorite house so far in Nantucket; we highly recommend it & would stay again.

Wonderful Girls Trip!

We had a wonderful weekend at Amy's home! We were a group 5 girlfriends, who were looking for a peaceful, fun weekend, and Amy's home delivered all the necessities. She recommended a small private beach around the corner from the house, which was great for an evening cocktail! We walked to and from town several times a day and enjoyed the back patio for drinks and apps! The house itself was stunning and clean! I hope to return in the future!

Amazing Stay at Spirit of '76

Amy was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the booking process, check-in, and beyond. Her home is absolutely beautiful, and a wonderful place for a group. The location cannot be beat, as you can walk to town, the grocery store, and several restaurants.
