Proud Member of Nantucket Chamber of Commerce! Our property has two large homes on it, the cottage is at the rear of the property.Great house for children! The cottage has a covered front porch that enters into a large livingroom with flatscreen high def TV with streaming,wireless EXTREME PRO internet and a large selection of books, games and puzzles. The bright new living room has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and opens to the kitchen with soapstone counters and all the comforts of home. Central air provides comfort in summer and heat in winter. A powder room on the first floor makes family rentals very comfortable. Our primary bedroom is at the end of the hall on the first floor and features a queen size bed with all new linens and a flat screen TV. The attached bath has a shower and plenty of storage for all of your personal needs. Sheets are professionally laundered and sanitized.The staircase in the livingroom guides you to the second floor hall which has all new wide plank flooring. The laundry is on the second floor making family rentals a breeze! Vaulted ceilings and three bedrooms and a large updated and decorated bathroom compliment the second floor. The first bedroom has two twin beds with all new linens. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with all new linens and a flat screen TV. The third bedroom has two twins with all new Linens and plenty of storage. The second floor bath is large and bright with all new towels. Around the back of the cottage is a huge private yard with a family size deck and furnishings. A new outside shower added 2023! Enjoy a meal or family get together in seclusion! Mature plantings grace the property and add to the privacy. One off street parking space in large driveway. Once you are settled in our Nantucket Cottage take a stroll down Historic Orange Street to Main Street and enjoy all that town has to offer. Walk to the harbor and take a sail on the Endeavor or dine in one of the fantastic restaurants, all a short walk from the cottage! The Wave Bus runs all over the island and stops in front of our property, take a day to explore, bring a map and a camera with you! Children welcome!

Host Cynthia was so easy to work with/very accommodating / quick communications. The home was very clean and stocked with everything you’d need in a kitchen for our family of 8 adults on island for a family wedding. Great showers…and plenty of towels. Big private backyard. We’d surely stay again.

short and sweet

It's been almost 2 weeks since going to this beautiful cottage on 111 Orange Street, my mom still talks about it. Our focus was on our ancestors dating back to the 1600s. We loved exploring the entire island, especially my mom's top picks: the museum and the Founders Burial Grounds. We visited a few different beaches, the lighthouses, and of course indulged in a few restaurants and cafes. We thought the Cottage was very centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The cottage was adorable and everything we were hoping it would be. From the bedrooms, the kitchen, the living area, and even the outdoor seating areas were perfect for what we were looking for. I highly recommend staying here.

Thanksgiving on Orange St.!

My Son and I really enjoyed staying at 111-b Orange St. It had been quite a few years since either of us had visited the Island and we weren't unhappy that we decided to spend Thanksgiving there. The cottage is very comfortable and there would have been room for many more family members. I especially enjoyed the first floor bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. It was a fairly cold weekend and the heat worked fine. All in all it was terrific to be back on the Island and hopefully it won't be so long before my next visit and I'm sure my Son would agree with this....Diane Roberts

Fabulous Fun On Nantucket!

We had an amazing time on Nantucket and Cynthia's home was the perfect base for our festivities. The location on Orange provided easy access to all parts of the island with several of the free Wave bus routes stopping right in front. Only 5 min. by bus or 15 min. walking from the ferry port and downtown; Cumberland Farms convenience store 2 doors down, the Stop & Shop a few more steps as well as several dining options including the Island Kitchen, Pi Pizzeria, Wicked Island Bakery and many more. The beds were super comfortable, and the back yard was ideal for hanging out for afternoon beverages. We can't wait to return for another visit.

Quick Nantucket getaway

The cottage is in a great location! We walked into town for dinner and easily biked around the island. Property manager was easy to get a hold of and super quick to respond to requests. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely rent again.

Beautiful property, close to town

We had a great stay on the property. The location of the house is in a perfect spot about a half mile from town and also close to some other eateries outside of town. The backyard was beautiful and it was a great place for a quick weekend getaway.

Wonderful Walkable Cottage

This cottage is close to town, very clean, with the perfect amount of amenities. It was cozy and had 4 good sized bedrooms. Fresh flowers were a special find when we arrived. We plan to go back!

Hurricane Wedding Weekend

Awesome Owner!

We recently stayed at this very comfortable and lovely home. The location is within walking distance to town in a quiet neighborhood. It felt like home! Cynthia was awesome! We didn't realize that we'd left a rather expensive camera at the house when we left. Cynthia let us know and shipped the camera back to us. That's what I call a super honest host! We highly recommend a stay at Cynthia's house!!

Great location and house

We were 4 coworkers/friends who stayed for a week during the summer. The house is perfect walking distance to town and restaurants. The four bedrooms are relatively quiet and shielded from noise from each other. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend the house to anyone wishing for an easy vacation.
