Summary:
Welcome to First Light – relaxation awaits!

This direct oceanfront, two-bedroom, two-bath condo is located in Nags Head – right in the center of it all! Within an easy drive of many great local attractions including the beautifully renovated Jennette's Pier (a half mile away), the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet Shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet, we’re sure you will agree that the location can’t be beat.

Fall asleep each night to the sounds of crashing waves and wake up to beautiful sunrises from your porch with unobstructed views of the ocean. The unit also features a well-equipped kitchen, flat-screen TVs (2), cable, WiFi, and an in-suite washer and dryer.

Sleeping arrangements include: one king-size bed, one twin bed, and one queen bed. Linens (bed linens, bath towels, washcloths, and sheets) are provided by an independent vendor and the beds will be made when you arrive!

The property offers direct beach access, two outdoor pools (closed in off-season), outdoor grills in the common area, and a children’s play space - all available for your enjoyment.

The elevator in our building is currently out of service. Our HOA is actively pursuing a full modernization of the elevator system; however, due to the scope of the project and the specialized parts required, we do not anticipate the elevator will be available for guest use until Spring 2026.

We understand this may cause inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding as we work toward long-term improvements to the property. To help ease the impact, a luggage lift is available to assist with transporting your bags. All guests must be able to navigate multiple flights of stairs. If you choose to proceed with the booking, please understand that no refunds will be given based on the availability of the elevator, it is an amenity of the HOA and is completely out of the owner's personal control.

If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.

This unit is located on a third-floor level (the first level is pull-under parking).

We have a 30-day cancellation policy - refunds will only be issued if cancellation is submitted in writing to the property manager outside of 30 days from check-in date.

Our awesome caretakers, Mike and Lisa, live onsite and are as committed to your experience as we are.

Everything was great! Very clean. Comfortable, warm and accommodating. Communication with Amy could not have been more pleasant. Numerous reminders that the availability of any and all team members were at our beckon call. The fact of the matter was that Amy's orderliness and attention to detail in preparing for our stay, left us with no issues to address. NOT ONE!!! We didnt need a thing. We had all we needed to enjoy our stay. I feel a return visit real soon! Amy, thanks for everything!

We were VERY pleased with the decor, the amenities, the cleanliness, the location, the management, and every feature of this condo! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with any utensil or appliance we would wish to use to prepare our own meals. The view and overall proximity to the ocean were amazing, and we took advantage of the table and chairs on the deck to enjoy a few of our meals outside. The beds and couches were comfortable and there was plenty of closet and drawer space for the things we had packed. The interior colors and decor were very tasteful, with framed photos of lighthouses. The location was convenient for trips to restaurants and also to the activities (kayaking, hummer ride to see the wild horses, etc.) we had scheduled. The exterior of the building does not have unusual curb appeal but we highly recommend this particular condo. We are eager to return!

Wonderful Oceanfront views

We had great weather and really enjoyed our stay at First Light condo which has excellent oceanfront views and a beautiful beach. We loved the interior of the condo, as well. It has been updated very nicely and is super comfortable. There are 2 pools - one is a smaller pool which we actually loved because it wasn't used as much by others and we felt like we had our own pool. Lol . The other pool is great, as well. It is a big pool and fun to use the floats and play around in.The pools and also the beach entrances are so close and very conveniently located near the condo.The parking is plentiful so that was never an issue.I loved the location! Close to so many things - restaurants, etc..Our week went by way too fast! The elevator was not usable that week but the luggage/grocery lifts were available which helped. Since this condo is on the 2nd floor - it was not an issue - there really were not that many stairs .I would say that we did not have any issues - just alot of great ocean views and plenty of relaxation and fun! I would definately recommend this condo to others!

PierView Condos

Everything was great with a couple of minor exceptions. Elevator quit working for over a day. The elevator needs to be updated. The dishwasher was full when we arrived. Did not know if dishes were clean or dirty. Should have been emptied before we arrived. We were not able to use dishwasher because we are not going to deal with someone elses leftover dishes. The remote for the TV was worn out. could not use the TV because half of the buttons did not work anymore. I bought new batteries but that was not the problem. Remote needs to be replaced.

Great location!

The location is spot on! Sitting on the deck watching the waves was surreal! The master bedroom, living room, and dining were decorated great! The 2nd bedroom lacked a comfy vibe but is ok for kids. The cleaning of the property was ok. It needed a thorough clean. Seemed as though the high spots had been the focus of the cleaning crew.

Yearly family vacation

We came for our summer vacation. The condo was great. It was close to restaurants, shops, and groceries. It had all the necessities for a great vacation. It was the perfect spot and the ocean front was awesome!

We absolutely loved this condo. Everything inside was redone and new and modernized. The location was amazing. We were on the second floor, so there was a direct view to the ocean with no dune blocking you. At night I slept with the door open with the screen shut, and fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing the shore. It was total bliss. Love the unit and every single thing about it and would love to stay here again! Love the Nags Head area and being so close to the Jeanette’s Pier.

Perfect OBX stay

We absolutely adored every second at First light. It's beautifully renovated and decorated. Bed was super company. The VIEW of the ocean can't be beat. It was a real treat to have the elevator to help get our things upstairs. Our new go-to place when we want to stay on the OBX!
