Small getaway

We have stayed in these apartments before with a different company I believe and we were not thrilled with our stay this time around. There was an office check in process. As it was book through vrbo usually you just get instructions for check in. It turned out to be no problem. But when we arrived the apartment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned very well the fans had alot of dust. Sink in kitchen looked like it was just rinsed not cleaned and same with the showers. The bedding in the master looked a bit dirty. But the sheets were fine and there was a lot of small trash on the floor. We did have some supplies to clean so we did and did what we could but definitely that is an area that needs some supervision.

Great for mom and daughters trip

We booked this location for a mom and daughter’s trip. It was excellent, nice clean pools, easy access to the beach. We loved that it wasn’t overcrowded and chaotic but still close to everything we wanted to do.

Perfect for all ages! Between kiddie pool, real pool and hot tub with the beach right across from it all it was great! Check in was easy and the host was easy to communicate with and answered quickly!

Last minute option

They are out to make money for themselves. So stressed the whole time to not get a fine or something beacuse their so money hungry. Their rules were written/worded so weird and confusing i feel to confuse people and boom a fine! They charge a cleaning fee but legit make you clean and i think thats it. The state of our condo when we walked in was dirty. We left it cleaner than how we found it. But they charge a cleaning fee??? For us to clean for them! The floors were dirty, sink had food stuck to it still. Bathrooms didnt looked swept. And looked like they had someone come in and put a sanitized sticker on the toilet and that was it. Pillows had stains on them. Dishwasher was almost falling out when you pulled the racks out!! The pool was clean tho. Would i stay again nope! Would i recommend it to anyone nope! But i booked last mintue so it was fine we made due.

Disappointed

I’m very disappointed on my experience when I first came . I came in with a note on the shower saying it can’t be used . Sheets were not cleaned. Toilet was not cleaned. Also couldn’t watch tv the first night because of the WiFi. I don’t usually complain but to have that much going on the first day we arrive is extreme. I feel that I should be paid back for cleaning fee and more because the room was not ready to a tenant. I did talk with Alex who had the guy come fix the WiFi the next day and brought sheets. But as I stated before , it shouldn’t take for me to have to do that. I am suppose to be enjoying trip with my kids.

Ocean Forest Villas/ Affordable,Relaxing and Covenient V

Family of 6 the villa worked out great for us. It was very clean when we arrived. My favorite was the convenience to the beach and shopping. Every morning I would walk out to look at the beach from the balcony. The beach is so close to the villas you can hop right out the pool right over to the beach. We stayed on the 3rd Floor so we did have to walk up and down the stairs but we didn't mind. It was always quiet and relaxing no matter what Time of the day or night it was very peaceful. Not only was the villa we stayed in was clean,I also the Landscaping, Grill, and Pool area was beautiful. We traveled do wn for bike Week and we weren't allowed to keep our trailer or bikes at the property but we were accommodated to park somewhere else. If you're traveling without a trailer or bike this would be the perfect 11place to stay.

We have stayed here many times over the years. Great location and amenities. Probably the best section of beach around. Condo has been updated with beach theme. The only advice I would offer is that it’s time for a mattress upgrade in the master bdrm. Not a very good sleep. Condo is very convenient to many of the fun attractions.

Overall a pleasant stay

We appreciated the flexibility of the check in process and the availability of help when we needed it upon arrival. The unit was a bit dirty when we arrived with a couple of dead bugs on the ground but we found no other evidence of them during our stay. The location was perfect for our family of five! The walk to the beach was easy and we enjoyed having a pool nearby.

Condo

The area is nice and the building itself is good. We've stayed in many of the privately owned condos at Ocean Forest, and have had a wonderful experience. However, this particular condo rented out by Elliot Realty was much to be desired. It was not clean, had many items that were broken (towel bar and shower door) and repairable, but it seemed as if noone wanted to bother with it. Quite disappointed with accommodations. When we spoke to a representative after we checked out, I was told we should have said something when we arrived. I don't believe that I should be taking up my trip to explain how a condo should look before guests arrive. We didn't let it ruin our trip, we cleaned everything before we used it.

Great condo - TERRIBLE cleaning staff

Check in was quick and easy no issues there. I get in the condo and EVERYWHERE I go there are dead roaches (kitchen floor, bathroom floor, counters, sticking out the side of the TV screen even). I call management and they have the nerve to say "at least they're dead" and NEVER sent cleaning staff to clean them up the whole weekend. Will not be staying here again. The beach, pool, and hot tubs were great though, so you're golden so long as you aren't in the disgusting condo!
