I hoped things improved! They didn’t

Unfortunately our stay was not good. The pictures are attractive but the house is old and in need of serious detail work. Trim is missing. Vents are broken. One door is broken. We had roaches in the kitchen and beds! The pool was cloudy and green the entire week. We never saw it clean. The vents are covered in accumulated dust. The walls had bug smears and spilled liquids. The kitchen rug is filthy, and bacon remained on the floor as we entered and a roach was fried into the bottom of the dishwasher. It my kind of place. And while we were at the beach someone took all of our pool supplies, all of the floats and balls. Lousy week.

Images Don't Tell the Whole Story

While the images reflect what the house looks like, they don't come close to showing the poor quality of every bed (the worst mattresses and pillows ever), scratchy sheets and towels, and a very dangerous main staircase (our 10 year old fell down the stairs the first morning because the stairs are uneven and unmarked). Worst rental we've had in 10 years. Bunk beds were unsafe and unusable--they should have been thrown out years ago. Ceiling fans again were so loud and old that we couldn't deal with the noise in the upstairs bedrooms. Outdoor furniture on main deck was rusted and unstable. Kitchen didn't have necessities like wine openers, paper towels or any hand soap in any of the bathrooms. Had to go buy toliet paper, all paper products and all soaps upon arrival. Biggest rip off, especially with all of the 'fees' they include. Very disappointing. The whole house needs to be updated.

Overall GOOD, however.....

Overall experience- Good Cleanliness- Under tables and couches was very dusty with some small trash underneath and it was visible. It’s not like we went looking under furniture. We went in and sanitized and disinfectanted common used areas and the wipe after wiping the counter was very dirty. Amenities- There wasn’t any golf club or golf ball for the golf lawn setup underneath the house even though that amenity was shown on pics. Overall the entire place could use some updating, however the space was very sufficient. The kitchen cooking tools etc was very sufficient as well.
