Such a great vacation! We were here for spring break and property did not disappoint. It is ON the beach. The views are breathtaking. The house was easy to find, partially because it is clearly labeld as Floramay II. There are a lot of stairs. We found it easier to use the back steps when packing and unpacking. The house was spotless. Beds were decent and there was plenty of room for our party of 10. The Surfside Pier is right there and our teens loved hanging out there. There are some great restaurants in walking distance (River City Cafe is delish, fast and amazing service with great prices). There are stores within a 5 minute drive and lots to do if you decide to leave the beach! I saw other reviews mention how they didn’t like being close to public access - that was not an issue for us. It was busy at times but never an issue. Most people are gone by 4 or 5p. The property managers were amazing and super eary to work with. The check in and out process was super quick. The office is about 9 minutes from the house. The house is FULLY STOCKED - even the kitchen!! No complaints. The house is great. Worth every penny!

Loved the location, layout. size of the house and lots of parking area. We also enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs . But the house needs a good "deep " cleaning. Seemed a little neglected. A larger Tv in the den would also be nice for large families. There was also trash around the outside of the house . Dunes Realty was easy to work with and even with these negatives we still plan to be back

Penn family vacation

Great location, they have done a lot of work to the decks and walkway to the beach, but the house needs a lot of attention. The walls are in need of painting, back door is dirty and knob is worn, beds are horrible. Great location but the house is really dated including appliances and furniture.

Wonderful vacation place and we have stayed there before.

I love the house, but the door from the family room is sticky and needs repair. Some paint is needed to make the place look like it did when I first stayed there several years ago. These small problems do not reduce our recommendation for the house.

Nice place, plenty big enough for families

This was a great place! The house was big, and had a good location. The only thing we didn't like was all of the really personal pictures around the house. I'm not sure they are appropriate for all of the different families that rent the house.

Great location, home needs a bit of TLC and seating

Our stay consisted of 4 adults and 6 kids. The house is in a great location with beautiful views. The home itself could use some paint and TLC. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of seating. The house itself is quite large and the living would only seat about 4 or 5 people comfortably. Probably a great home for a family of 6 or so but not for a larger party.

Average location and stay

The property overall was not bad. The location was right next to a public beach access which was not as bad as I thought that it might be but did make for a somewhat crowded beach. The house itself seems a little dated. Pillows were ultra thin, sliding shower doors did not work in downstairs master and the house seemed a bit "weathered". We also had to contend with the bugs outside. Likely normal for summer in SC but you couldn't sit on the back porch at night without having 4 or 5 very large roaches scurrying across the back porch pretty much constantly. Again, likely normal for July in SC but I have stayed at other properties in MB and never had that issue. For the cost of staying there I would have expected a little bit nicer place. We will likely try a different place next year.
