We are frequent visitors to Kingston Plantation and we have stayed at several different properties. This unit will definitely be added to our "visit again" list. Short walk to the beach and very close to the pool it had plenty of room for our group of 7.Communication with property manager was great with very easy of check in and check out. My only complaint would be the thermostat would not go lower than 70, which I understand the reasoning, however the bedrooms would get hot during the night, but other than that had a lovely stay.

Great Spring Break!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay! The house was perfect for our family of 6 and the 3 bathrooms were great. The beach is a super short walk through a shaded path. The pool was so fun! We loved our dinner at the Black Drum. We even met some new friends while feeding the turtles in the backyard lake. We hope to return again soon!

Amazing weekend

My Sisters and I really enjoyed our weekend. The location of the property was right on. I have been staying on Kingston Plantation for the past 13 years for bike week and the property by far is in my top five. The beds was amazing very comfortable and cozy. We were able to cook dinner since all pots, pans, and dinner wear were provided. We also really appreciated the early check in since we were traveling from Georgia on motorcycles. The process of everything was good i would recommend this property.

Great experience

The location was convenient which was our biggest concern since the previous 10 years we stayed in one of the high rises within Kingston. From now on we will stay in one of these lake front properties if not this one. The property is as advertised

Baseball Tournament

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property in Kingston Plantation. Location of unit is perfect, right next to the pool and just down the path and across the street to a beach access point. Good internet speed for business and gaming. Quiet and relaxing area of the resort overlooking the duck pond. 15 mins away from the Cal Ripken Experience baseball fields and very close to a Wal-Mart, restaurant's, gas stations, and outlet stores. Will definitely book this place again if we come again. Owner was in contact with us to make sure everything was ok and answered all our questions we had. Highly recommend this unit.

March Heaven

Beautiful villa-living with lake view off the deck. Beds comfortable and living space appealing. Walk to the ocean just a block away and the natural setting of trees and flowers just a delight. Will stay here again.

Needs cleaned

Walked into property and cockroaches everywhere. While we were there we seen them even pop out of the toaster. Total for the trip was well over 20 for the week. There was old food hidden in corners where you can tell the cleaners were to lazy to move things to clean. Found used tooth picks under lambs in rooms. Inside garbage can was a mess once you lifted the bag out. The musty smell was overwhelming once we walked in.

The property was dirty and had a lot of issues. The toilet needed repair 2 times. The air conditioner went out and needed repair 2 times. The dishwasher was not fastened in the cabinet and would fall out when it was being loaded. We called for service and was told it was the weekend.. They did come and tried to repair. We spent most of the time calling for repairs.

Kingston Plantation stay

Location and resort are great. Property management is excellent. Communication with them was easy and timely. The condo needs some maintenance and updating. Cleaning crew was overwhelmed during COVID and missed dusting and floors, but they came back out (still missed the dusting.) Overall a decent place to stay. We wouldn’t choose this unit again, but if we ever visit Myrtle Beach again we would be glad to stay in Kingston Plantation.

Excellent location, but the house is 👎

Pros: Location is great away from the city bustle. Kingston plantation is great place. The pool is small, tennis courts were mostly available at all times. 15 min walk to the beach, The house has a great view from the balcony of the water stream and bridge. The owners were very responsive for any issues . They extended our check out time From 9:30am(never heard that!) to 11am . Appreciate that. Cons: The house feels extremely dated, Very old, faded couches. Tv is poor quality. Kitchen appliances were old, the refrigerator couldn’t make ice, we had to buy from outside. We had to get our trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper. Hot water tank is small the three bathrooms can’t get at the same time. We did not like the beds much. Overall, we had a good time during vacation. But will look for better houses during next visit.
