We enjoyed our stay. You can just walk right out of your room and enjoy a restaurant, Starbucks, and just a one minute walk to the indoor pools, outdoor pools, and beach! It’s a great place for families. Parking is across the street in a parking garage but the dunes resort itself is so accessible and easy to navigate! Check in was smooth and easy! Room was clean. I also liked that it was a little away from the busier area of Myrtle beach. It was a short drive (8 minutes) to the boardwalk with restaurants, aquarium, shops, etc.

Janet has her stuff together! Everything was just as stated and emails and texts with all details and instructions made check in, use of the property, and check out absolutely seamless! Have stayed at Dunes for years and years but LOVE the location of this particular room on the site and the fact that you don’t have to use the elevators! And you can still see the ocean! Ice machine being right outside the door is a plus too! We had a wonderful spring break weekend!

Location is great as long as you’re OK with climbing a few steps to get to the room and to bring your luggage up. Can be a little noisy sometimes. Had a few issues with the lock on the door, but contacted Janet‘s assistant after hours and seemed to get it resolved after some time. You can’t really see the beach itself from the room, but you can see the tops of the umbrellas and the water because of the grass on the dunes and the location of the room. Room is eye level by the pool so we had to keep the curtains closed the majority of the time so it would keep people from looking in our room from the pool. Everything was provided as far as linens and towels. Room was clean up upon entering. Check-in and checkout process was very easy. The amenities for the kids are great! Everything is extremely close by. I have an autistic child and it was very accommodating. Would more than likely book again.

Great location just off the beach, with beach/ocean view off the 1st floor balcony. It was a little noisy (I’m guessing due to age of the building/thinner walls) even though it was off season. It was great to have the indoor water park (pools, lazy river, jacuzzis, and two slides) included in the rental price and provided some indoor fun during cool weather!Overall a nice, enjoyable stay! Thanks!

We had a great stay. The location was great. Felt very safe and the beach access was great. We came with our 1 yr old daughter and the pools, splash pads, and water slides were a big hit with her. She had so much fun with all of it. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at Dunes Village Resort! The indoor waterparks were a huge hit with my grandkids! The room was the perfect size and having a full size fridge was great! Free garage parking across the street. I booked the day before and didn’t get the check in instructions email but as soon as I reached out it was texted to me within minutes! The code for the door is pretty long so I screenshotted it to have it on my phone to make it easier to get in! Checkout was easy…only confusion was with where to take the trash. I let the host know and they stated they would update the instructions with more detailed information!
