Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

When I arrived, the bed linens were dirty. Hair in both beds an a urine stain on one. Clearly not cleaned. I contacted vacasas customer support and could get no help. They’re claiming they will not refund me because they did send a cleaning crew (at 1:37 pm the next day). I ended up leaving this location at 11 pm after customer service wouldn’t get me any clean linens or contact me with any information after calling 3-4 times. One of vacasas reps was rude to me when I pressed at 10:30 pm about getting help. I left and booked a hotel and will never book anything owned by vacasa again if I can help it. Oh and I’m still waiting to speak to someone. Multiple contacts to vacasa customer service this weekend and zero help.

Clean room with an excellent view

The room was very clean and had a nice balcony overlooking the beach. Another bonus was there weren’t any dogs barking at night, and only smelled smokers on the balcony a couple of times. The only issue we had was that we noticed on the second day that there wasn’t a remote for the tv in the living room and the ice machine wasn’t working. We notified the maintenance crew about the remote but never did get a replacement. But a downloaded app did work occasionally.

2 night stay

The room was still dirty upon check in. Dirt was on both bed spreads, dirt in the floor(not sand), the refrigerator was dirty on the inside, the sink in the kitchen was dirty, the mirror in the bedroom was dirty, the shower still had sand in it along with mold, the wall beside the commode had hair on it, and I’m sure I’m forgetting other things. The balcony door didn’t shut all the way. When I text the hotline number and expressed these concerns they said they were going to inform the cleaning staff and someone would be by to evaluate the room. No one came by the entire duration of our stay. I’m overall very disappointed with how this was handled, or actually the lack of. I definitely will not stay at Camelot ever again and I don’t think I will book through Vacasa again if this is how they handle situations.

Myrtle Beach Baseball Trip

The Bad: Cleanliness of the room was bad. Molded shower. Someone had wiped boogers on the wall in front of the toilet. Baseboards and appliances are beat up and dirty. People smoking weed all night long of their balconies. Toilet seat was broke. Kitchen chairs were broke in the back. Beds are terribly uncomfortable. Elevators are sketchy. Good:Location was great. Facilities such as the pool, lounge chairs, parking garage on site, coffee shop attached to the hotel was all a plus.Next time we will try a different resort though.

Great for parent college visit!

We stayed here for CCU orientation, room was clean and exactly as it was listed. The view is incredible, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. The property itself needed some updating, and the pizza flyer spam was out of control which made the property uncomfortable with people constantly outside your door. Overall it was a decent place to stay!

Great stay

Nice condo facing ocean. Comfortable beds. Nice remodeled bathroom with walk in glass shower, an uptick in my book. Stayed 2 nights. Only con was the bedroom faced the hallway so it was bright at night. Room darkening shades would be a nice addition. It’s a small condo but perfect for 2 people. Check in was quick, friendly staff made you feel welcome. Would recommend.

Paradise at the beach

I was so impressed with how clean the condo was. The only complaint is bathroom base boards needed cleaning. The condo had very nice upgrades. It was very roomy. It provided a million dollar view of the beach. The staff provided outstanding service. We had an issue with our keypad, but they were quick to repond with help. We would love to stay again.

Met all of our needs

Our weeklong stay at the Camelot was overall decent. Check-in was smooth; the lady at the front desk is really nice. The property itself is a bit dated, but not dirty. The indoor pool area is clean with multiple pools and a hot tub. There was plenty of free parking on the premises which was nice, and there was always a quick response from the manager. Our only complaint was the wifi in the condo. It only works in the front (bedroom area) and not towards the back (balcony area), which made it hard to do work on our computers from the comfort of the couch. We contacted the manager about this issue, and while they were prompt in their response and their efforts to address the issue, the wifi issue simply is what it is; the signal just doesn't reach the entire condo. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay here. Next time, we would probably stay at one of the more luxurious hotels, but would definitely recommend the Camelot to anyone visiting MB.

On the beach getaway

Place was perfect for a quick weekend trip to Myrtle beach. The reason I didn’t give five stars for cleanliness is because there was hair in the shower and on the sink. Gross! But I just cleaned it and went on with our trip. The AC was cold but stopped blowing at night and it got a little warm. It was also a little stuffy, with no blowing or circulating air. Other than that, great views, nice that there was a tv in the bedroom and living room, and proximity to restaurants, shopping and THE BEACH was great! Pools and lazy river were fun too!

Perfect location

Beach view from our room, you take an elevator down and walk on the beach. Several pools on the property which were clean and never too busy. Just a short walk to the main strip and so many restaurants and shops. Room was clean and had everything we needed. They also provide pool/beach towels to use if you request at the front desk.

Great location!

This unit was great. Very clean and well-decorated. Met our needs for a quick 2-day trip, however there is no separation/door from the bedroom to the kitchen and living area, which wasn’t ideal for children needing to nap during the day while adults are awake. The common areas of the property (elevators, pool area, etc.) were constantly being cleaned by staff members, so we appreciated that, but unfortunately there were a lot of cigarette butts on the ground near the hammocks and swings, despite being a non-smoking facility. On-site parking was very convenient and the location of the property can’t be beat! Very easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shops.

Je commence par dire qu'on a beacoup aimé le condo et je le recommenderais sans faute...... Je vais tout de même mentionner quelques notes que qui était important pour moi. 1) Wifi--on disait que le Wifi était Camelot by the Sea.. c'était plutot CAM - XXXX ou le XXXX était le numéro du condo mais la vrai surprise était que le wifi n'était pas protégé...pas de mot de passe...pour moi c'était un point important. 2) Propreté..a la surface c'était propre mais c'est dans le détail que j'aimerais mentionner... les poignés de portes d'entré et de cabinets de cuisines était salle.... moutage, marque de doigts...entre autre... 3) Le grille pain dans la cuisine devrait être changé......ne fonctionne vraiment pas bien... Malgré ces mentions, je tiens a dire que j'ai beaucoup beaucoup aimé le condo... tranquilité....l'emplacement...la vue sur l'ocean,...la grandeur du condo, la propreté en génénal...la douche et salle de bain... on a bien aimé !!!!!
