Peaceful Pastel - Cheerful Cottage Close to Pere Marquette and Muskegon Lake - Pet Friendly

This beautifully updated home in the Lakeside Community is the perfect location for your vacation destination. Take a walk through the Lakeside District and you will find yummy restaurants, cute shops, and nice marinas all with a lake view. The 12 mile Muskegon Lakeshore Bike Trail is just minutes away. When you're ready for the beach; head to Muskegon Lake which is about 2 miles from the home or Pere Marquette which is about 2.5 miles. Whether you're out exploring Muskegon or neighboring towns, at the beach, or relaxing in the beautiful yard; this vacation home has it all.

Peaceful Pastel sleeps four guests in two bedrooms. They are both on the main floor with a queen bed. There is also a full bathroom on the main floor and a second full bathroom in the basement. The living area and kitchen provide an open concept feel so the family can be together. The large backyard with charcoal grill, additional seating and beautiful garden will have you spending most of your time outside. This is a pet friendly home!

Muskegon is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are also home to many state parks, including P.J. Hoffmaster State Park, where you can find 10 miles of hiking trails and a beautiful beach. Take a trip to downtown Muskegon where you will find a variety of breweries and restaurants to enjoy. Muskegon is also the home to The Lakes Mall, which is surrounded by shopping, food and fun! Plan on spending a day with your family at Michigan's Adventure for a day of action and excitement. If you desire a day relaxing in the sun, head to the Muskegon River or the White River where River Rat Rentals and Happy Mohawk Canoe will rent tubes and canoes for your family to calmly float down the river. For a day of fun, head to Craig's Cruisers for mini golf, go-karts, arcades, and so much more! All of this is waiting for you to enjoy on your vacation to Muskegon!

Cute home in great residential neighborhood

This is a lovely, small home that has what you need to enjoy yourself in Muskegon. It is not always easy to find a two bedroom rental in Muskegon with two bathrooms near the lake, that also accommodates your furry friend. This one was close to both Lake Michigan and Muskegon lake and has a fenced in back yard. Not walk close, but definitely bike close and in a very sweet neighborhood with large trees, friendly neighbors, and beautiful plantings. It is also very easy to get to the farmers market and down town Muskegon. It was clean and pretty, and we enjoyed every aspect of it. Communication when needed was prompt and friendly.

Nice place. Unfortunate timing.

I stayed at a peaceful pastel with my family during the 4th of July week. The house was as described and clean. The check-in process was straightforward, and there was good communication with the property manager via text or phone. One thing we were not expecting was massive construction happening directly out our front door. The entire road was shut down and being ripped apart to install what appeared to be new sewer lines. For three days in a row, we were shaken awake at 7 am by heavy machinery. I understand this was out of the control of the property management, but I wish we could have gotten a slight discount for the inconvenience or at least a heads-up that it would be going on. Other than that, the neighborhood was quiet and nice. It was within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and a playground. My only complaint about the house itself is the beds are VERY firm/hard and seem old. For the price of this listing, I hope they decide to upgrade the mattresses for future guests.

Peaceful pastel

The home was convenient for our family. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were friendly. The home was also clean and well equipped. Very close to Pier Marquette beach as well as a quick drive to North Muskegon, where many of our families activities took place.

September Get Away

House was clean and decorated in a beach theme. Beds and couch were comfortable. Shower was a bit precarious with the magnetic shower head but we figured it out. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Kitchen had all the items we needed to make meals during our stay. Yard is all fenced in which was great for pets. Close to the beach (less than 10 minutes). We didn't spend time sitting outside as most of our time was at the beach but plenty of seats for 6 people. Overall, a great stay.

Great location and neighborhood, decent house

Absolutely loved the area. As for the rental, it was mostly maintained well and sufficient for our needs. Gripes: tiny house with large furniture, so barely enough space to walk around, and I'm small. Also the dryer did not work, so we had to drive home with a bag full of wet laundry.

Convenient, beautiful home

Great little house close to the beach and downtown area. Loved the beautiful garden and great location.... the house was nicely stocked and provided everything we needed for our bbq and 3 night stay. Easy check in/check out... overall great experience.....We will be back.
