"What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester."

In need of a refurbishment. Tired fixings and fittings. The worst was the mattress. Well past its life. Although clean, it provided no support at all. The springs are so weak, I felt the hard bed base through the mattress. The bathroom sink plug didn't hold water. Bathroom light was so dim as was the shaving mirror, I...

"5 Star luxury from start to finish. Beautiful location and parking was so easy. The property itself must of just had a refurbishment as the room was fantastic. Fellow guests were welcoming especially when chatting at the front of the building. Local people actually visit the front of the hotel and chat to guests. Didn’t make it to the pool however the bath in the room was the size of a swimming pool."

"I had a wonderful time here! Best service I have had in a long time. I had the single room and it was clean and comfortable; rest can be said to all the other facilities. Also had a better breakfast spread that i have seen in most hotels that I have stayed in. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone."
