"Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a clean, generously sized bathroom. The bed was great for a good night's sleep. The only minor issue was the limited number of towels. The hotel also features a beautiful large pool, although we didn’t have a chance to use it during our stay. One unexpected highlight was the coffee machine in the lobby—it served one of the best cups of coffee we’ve had, and a staff member mentioned it was just a few days old. "The hotel served its purpose as a place for me and my daughter to stay while my son was getting married over in Watkins Glen. It was generally very quiet with only a couple yet typical disturbances of other guests closing doors too hard or talking while walking down the hall. We are from Texas and didnt know what to expect. "The description on Expedia didn't do it justice. There was a very nice midsize refrigerator and a microwave. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was that they tried to charge me an extra 10% fee over the price I paid Expedia when I checked in. The clerk said she would ask about taking it off and they did not pursue it so far. The desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. They made up the room without me asking!
