"Theva Residency is a nice hotel. Our room was good, comfortable and clean with a decent shower. We had a room with a terrace and lovely view of the hills around Kandy. Nice pool with good views. Breakfast was very good. The location is very scenic but nothing walkable that we found, although it's only a ten minute or so tuktuk ride down to the city which the hotel arranged. Definitely recommend a tuktuk tour of the temples and a visit to the Botanic Gardens is a must as they are huge, beautiful...

"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. "We had the most wonderful stay at the Coffee Bungalow. The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! I was shocked to see a negative review in my name which most definitely did not come from me. Beware of hacks. "
