"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Shanghai Marriott Marquis. The location is excellent and makes it a great base for exploring the city. "The property is walking distance to the people’s square so a good central location. The staff are exceptionally helpful. Due to connecting flight our baggage was lost and the hotel desk were really helpful in maintaining contact with the airport staff to ensure they delivered our luggage as promised and to the correct hotel. The hotel also swapped our room to one with a better view. We cannot fault the hotel or the staff. They went the extra mile to help us!"
