From the second we walked in, we were happily greeted by Wei and Wu at reception - they were really kind and made sure we were well looked after from the moment we arrived. "Room is not ventilated, was extremely stuffy and air-conditioning not working. But staff was friendly and after several discussion, offered to upgrade to another room type which allow us to open the window for more ventilation. Breakfast can be quite messy and chaotic when it's crowded, they should have better managed the crowd. "

"Excellent experience! Clean rooms, great service, and an amazing breakfast. The housekeeping team did a wonderful job and frequently left us free fresh fruit. All of the staff members were very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was awesome, featuring hundreds of freshly cooked options from local Shanghainese specialties to Western favorites. "We had a great stay at Jinglai Hotel Shanghai! The location was perfect and easily accessible for walking and commuting . The entrance was right off the Nanjing pedestrian street so it was very convieniant for shopping and subway. The hotel staff was very helpful throughout our entire stay and even helped us through a luggage crisis! Would recommend this stay if you’re in Shanghai!"
