"Close to everything and plenty of perks with free snacks in room and lounge. Rooftop terrace has amazing views and a great spot to relax. The free drinks and appetizers from 4-5 is also a great perk. The day we were there we were so busy touring the town we missed lunch, the free bacon wrapped chicken bites hit the spot. Additionally the free breakfast was fantastic, far above what you’ll get at a normal continental breakfast. First day we were there it was eggs Benedict. "

"Amazing! The bar has been raised for hospitality and excellence. The attention to detail, comfort, and thoughtfulness to the guest experience was shown through beautiful high end rooms, fantastic breakfast, and many included amenities like bicycles, a free cocktail hour, turn down service, and free snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The location was also superb. The Loutrel has thought creatively about comfort and hospitality. I was totally impressed and highly recommend!!! "

"We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze. "From the front desks, concierge, valet, restaurants employess...everyone was amazing. We booked a 1br and were instantly upgraded to a 2bd, which was perfect for a spa weekend w/my bestie. Plush robes and cozy beds were amazing. The restaurant had great food and service. The hotel was so nice, we rarely left...i would definitely stay here again and again. I wish i could remember everyones name, because its was definitely 5star service across the board"

"The Dewberry is ideally located to explore Charleston. It’s walking distance to most places within town and close to some great restaurants, bars and museums. The rooftop bar and the ground floor bar at the Dewberry are top notch. The Ordinary and Prohibition are two great restaurants close to the hotel. The staff were great and hospitality was top notch. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely look to book the hotel again the next time I am in Charleston. "
