But the room itself lacked visual appeal & some conveniences usually associated with booking a cottage which is more private and removed from the house. Could use more and better art in the room. "I was very impressed by the kind attention paid to me by the manager, who upgraded my room and showed me to the cottage and parking place. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom window showed a little wear and tear, but it wasn't a big deal. While the motel might not be as fancy as other places, it makes up for it in location and charm of the staff."

"We expected 2 queen beds we got 2 double beds.The security lock on the door was broken,the smoke/fire alarm was just a wire hanging from the ceiling and the second bath towel was full of suspect stains. The only positive was the gentleman on reception on checking out who listened and apologized and later called to say we would get a refund.We would never recommend this place "
