"Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon. H"

"Tha staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is well positioned for access to A1 and local bus route to Town. The room was perfect with plenty of room and an extra large bed. We had dinner in the hotel there was plenty of choice and all freshly cooked, excellent."

"Hosts are polite and lively and room was beautifully decorated."

"Super Hotel, desayuno bueno y cerca del centro. Si vas en auto es perfecto"

"Excellent location, an easy walk into Alnwick for the castle, Barter Books etc. Parking a bonus, and Lidl a very short walk away. House itself was very well equipped and well looked after with lots of space for our family of five with older teens. Loved the Sky Lounge for extra space! Overall the nicest place we stayed on our two week holiday, hands down."

"The only thing going for this place was the central location, near to historic sites and restaurants. The faults were many. It was advertised as a B&B, but breakfasts had ceased in June of this year. the room was shabby and claustrophobic. dust and grime were apparent throughout. the shower room was cramped and mould was apparent. "The room was in need of updating, worn and dirty carpets, shabby draperies."

"Room was clean, but mould/mildew in bathroom. No wifi. Bit of a trek into town but it’s a nice walk, uphill on the way back. Lady downstairs was lovely. Definitely lots of noise coming from the pub when you’re trying to sleep. Cheap accommodation, you pay for what you get."

"Run by a lovely, very helpful couple who want your stay to be as good as it can be. Provided parking, excellent breakfasts, helpful local knowledge. The room was very clean and was refreshed & restocked each day. Highly recommended."

"Fuimos a conocer la región de Northumberland. Este hotel es muy agradable, cerca de la entrada a la playa, y el personal es muy amable. Desayuno excelente y variado."

"Amazing inn with super attentive staff. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is part of the service area on the A1 but, unlike most such hotels, it offers good food as well as comfortable accommodation. We were impressed with the welcome we received - and our dog was happy with the positive attention he received! The chap on reception was able to recommend a good parking spot in Bamburgh, where we were keen to take the dog for a long walk! All in all, a good place to stop!"
