Beautiful new home at Kentucky Lake with community pool! Close to Murray State!

Welcome to Heron's Rest! Our new single-story home on Kentucky lake is situated on a private wooded 2 acre lot just 0.9 miles to the boat launch with screened back porch, outdoor fire pit, and boat parking area. We are in the Western Shores subdivision which is a 1,218 acre waterfront community located just outside of Murray, Kentucky on Kentucky Lake. It offers year round activities to include a community pool/hot tub, wooded nature trails, and private boat slips that are available on a first-come basis . Enjoy fishing and water sports in the Summer and hiking the nature trails in the Fall. If you are looking for a quiet escape you found it! Our home is located 2 hours from Nashville, one hour from Paducah and 15 minutes from the outdoor activities of Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.
There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the two guestrooms each have two full size beds. There are a total of five beds in the house. 
* This property may not be safe for unsupervised children due to the elevation of the front porch and exterior stairs.

Heron's Rest was the perfect spot for a lakeside getaway with friends. The house is beautiful with a large porch, and the fire pit was nice too. The pool is a short drive from the property, but was more than manageable. Highly recommend booking a stay here.

Great place for family and relaxing! Very clean, neat and stocked. Great location for privacy, quietness and scenery. Love the screened in porch and watching the hummingbirds during the morning. People in the area were very friendly. The community pool was great! Definitely would come back!

Outstanding, comfortable home for a weekend getaway. Beautifully appointed with both inside and outside spaces to relax and enjoy company. Only miss is that you can’t walk to a water view. But you can’t have everything!! Great location for Murray State Family weekend. Thank you!

Girls Weekend Getaway

Annual girls trip. We came across this Gem on VRBO. Absolutely stunning ! We had an amazing time and will definitely be back . The owners are fabulous! The area is breathtaking and there is so much to see . Will definitely come back!

We 4 golden girls go on vacation every year. This house was very comfortable, clean, nicely laid out. It was a little far from town, and the pool, but that was okay. Maybe needs a few more cooking utensils. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. Overall great place.

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, beautiful, and exactly as advertised. The area was quiet with lots of wildlife. We saw deer, and bison at the ranch next door. The community pool was perfect for the hot weather we had during our stay. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

We had a wonderful weekend! The house was beautiful and exactly what we needed. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we had a great time at the fire pit. The owners were friendly and always got back to us in a very fast when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Best stay ever

This is one of the most beautiful houses we have ever stayed at. Everything was excellent! We grilled almost every night and enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed. The area was amazing. People in the area were friendly. I hope to stay again next year.

Girls trip lake getaway

This VRBO is a beautiful, clean stay! We all (6) of us had a comfortable place to sleep with room. The house is a boho modern farmhouse clean, crisp, and homey place. We LOVED the infinity community pool and all the members we met were so nice! We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful home that was in a residential area but felt completely private. We made good use of the large well equipped kitchen and of the patio with the fire pit. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. It was a 20 minute drive to a number of very nice hiking trails. Overall, very pleased with our stay.
