  • The Mountain Abode is the perfect getaway!✨
    Surrounded by nature with easy access from the main highway. Just a short drive to the casino, shopping, dining, and surrounding outdoor activities! You can unplug if you want to, but if you need to be connected, we have super fast fiber optic internet! You'll find comfort and style inside, with a cozy living room with a ROKU/Smart TV, and kitchen with full size appliances, and spa-like shower in the bathroom with rain shower head and body jets.

    The space
    Small space, big style in this beautiful mountain abode! We brought the outside in with touches of nature throughout. Cabin touches without being too "cabiny".

    LIVING ROOM: The living room has comfy modern furniture and a cozy stack stone electric fireplace with a ROKU/Smart TV.

    KITCHEN: Full size appliances include a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, toaster, dishes and cooking utensils. Salt, pepper, other spices are provided, along with paper towels, aluminum foil, and zip lock bags. Everything you need to cook in your home away from home.

    EATING AREA: High top table with 2 swivel bar stools, and 2 folding TV trays to pull up to the sofa or chair.

    BEDROOM: The space includes a queen size bed with 3 inch memory foam mattress topper. Extra pillows and blankets are provided. Outlets with USB ports on each side of the bed for keeping your phone charged.

    BATHROOM: Enjoy the walk-in shower "experience" with full body shower jets and rain shower head. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and toilet paper provided.

    COVERED PORCH/DECK AREA: 2 bentwood rocking chairs and outdoor table and chairs.

    OUTDOOR AREAS:
    *Outdoor Soaking Tub!!!
    *Fire pit and chairs (firewood provided but you might have to split it..bring your own axe!)
    *Charcoal grill for cooking out

    NEARBY THINGS TO DO: There are lots of opportunity for tubing, boating, fishing, and rafting (Nantahala River, Ocoee River, Fires Creek, Little Brasstown Creek, Lake Hiwasee, Lake Chatuge, Lake Nottley). If you're a mountain biker, there's Hanging Dog Mountain Bike trail in Murphy, and a short drive to Jack Rabbit Mountain Bike Trail & hiking in Hayesville, Tsali Recreation Center in Bryson City, and Aska Trails in Blue Ridge GA .

    THE AREA: Murphy is the perfect "base" to explore many surrounding outdoor adventures, including hiking trails, motorcycle routes, scenic mountain drives, along with several rivers and lakes. Historic downtown Murphy is less than 10 minutes away with many restaurants, unique shops, bookstore, and the Murphy River Walk. Harrah's Valley River Casino is about 10 minutes away! You can also go gem mining, fly fishing, rafting, tubing, horseback riding and much more. It's the perfect starting point for all your mountain adventures! Surrounding towns: Hayesville, NC; Blue Ridge, GA; Bryson City, NC; Hiawassee, GA; Blairsville, GA; McCaysville, GA; Copperhill, TN; Franklin, NC; Clayton, GA.

This property was very clean. It was equipped with everything we needed. The host communicates very well and is quick to respond! We had a relaxing stay! Would definitely book again for another getaway!! The cost for our trip was very reasonable as well!

This is our favorite stay in Murphy when visiting family. Quiet with several amenities to enjoy. I personally love the outdoor private soaking tub! My husband enjoys the firepit that is setup so invitingly with the ambience of soft lighting above. The host has provided everything needed to enjoy the stay. We also enjoy sitting out on the covered porch to enjoy the quiet area.

We would recommend that a first aid kit be available, we couldn’t find one there. Please be advised that there are 2 front doors and the one further from driveway is the one that you use. Bed is comfortable. The host was great and had fresh bath and kitchen towels dropped off.

This was such a lovely tiny home! The home was filled with small touches that made it feel cozy. The seasonal decor was fabulous and such a nice extra touch. The soaking tub was a lovely addition to the property on the near freezing nights and mornings. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Quiet & Peaceful

This tiny house was wonderful! It was decorated with intention and had all of the amenities that you could possibly need. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and it was very clean. I would highly reccomend this home for your next getaway!

Murphy Best Getaway location!

Cuteness overload! Everything we needed was here. Loved the outdoor soaking tub, a wonderful experience and treat! The outdoor ambience was so inviting and relaxing. Enjoyed the firepit We will highly recommend and be back!

I know this is listed as a Tiny home but i wasn't expecting a trailer home. There are 2 trailer homes next to it and we didn't feel comfortable getting in the outside tub nor did we want to build a fire. We booked 2 nights but the first morning we woke up and did an early check out. We decided to find a different place to sleep in for our second night with more privacy. I have to say, she did the best she could with this trailer home, she had it cozy and clean but not what we were expecting.

Anniversary Trip

The tiny house is perfect. Rhonda has taken the time to beautifully decorate the inside and outside of this home. It’s located in a great area your only minutes from downtown Murphy and 30 minutes to Blue Ridge,Ga.

Tiny House with Big Hospitality

We loved our stay at The Tiny House. The owner was very responsive to questions and checked in with us daily. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and the two of us had all the space we needed! The details, from coffee, popcorn and s’mores ingredients all the way to the cozy porch with rocking chairs, soaking tub and fire pit made our stay positively relaxing and perfect! We look forward to going back, thank you for a lovely stay!

Best Valentine’s Day trip ever!

This trip was exactly what my husband and I needed! The tiny house was perfectly sized for the two of us, but could also comfortably fit up to a family of four. Our host was very attentive and majored to check in often to ensure we were having an incredible stay. Best of all the tiny house is just a short driveway from multiple great places to eat! I will definitely be returning.

Super cute and surprisingly spacious. Very central to almost everything. The worst thing we could find is the bed wasnt for bigger people. But super cute. Side note but has nothing to do with space.... rib country brunswick stew was not Brunswick stewing.

Perfect!

I traveled to NC on my way to visit a friend in TN. The photos posted on VRBO are accurate. Accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. The location of the tiny house was convenient to town. Rhonda, the host, responded to all my questions/needs in a timely manner. I will consider staying at this location in the future if I am in the area.

Leaf out!

we have wanted to experience tiny house living and even though we only stayed 3 nights they were wonderful! Our host answered any and all questions immediately....the abode itself had all amenities that we needed.....very cozy...and loved the decor! tastefully done and not over the top! if we ever go to Murphy again we will def be trying to hook up here again.....thank you for sharing Rhonda!
