I wish I lived here!!

The house is adorable and so comfortable, you really feel at home. The welcome book was so helpful and thoughtful! The location was prime for our itinerary and everyone we saw in the neighborhood and area was overwhelmingly kind. The owner really cares about your experience and it shows! Will definitely be returning

Quiet time

Wonderful little cabin to grab some quiet time. Loved the fenced in patio so we could let the dog off the leash. If you’re traveling with pets you couldn't ask for better. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Everything was clean and ready to go, just walk in, sit down, relax. Well priced.

Peace of Mind

We were totally impressed by how quiet and close enough to town to be a bit of both. We stayed here for our anniversary and brought our grandson with us for the gem mining in Chimney rock. We loved how close everything was even though it seemed like miles away from it all

So peaceful and relaxing. Really beautiful spot and enjoyed the nights on the deck with the lights. It was conveniently close to everything and also off to itself couldn’t ask for a better a place to enjoy our anniversary,

Property said concierge service and food delivery, also hot tub, none was in existence. Dirt road access, was extremely muddy and flooded in areas, no signs pointing which direction to go when the road split, GPS took us to a person's house. No washer or dryer, we were soaked, was raining hard for the last 2 hours before arrival, downpoured on arrival, we were on motorcycles. Definitely not motorcycle friendly, we had told them we were coming by motorcycle with a service dog. There were only 2 towels hanging in the bathroom, no idea where more would be, and no mop was too be found to sop up the mud and water we tracked in. They assumed that everyone books thru VRBO but we booked thru Expedia, had no way to communicate with the owners. The "House Rule Book" had the old owners phone number in it so we still had no way to communicate. I would only get an email, when I replied to said email I never received a response. Had to clean the heater in the bedroom, it was packed full of fuzz and dust, heater just shut off when it got hot, took it off the wall, cleaned the back and filter. Housekeeping services isn't doing a good job, also if you know that people are staying for multiple days leave a stack of towels on top of the dresser. We also had to find towels and blankets for the dog, they knew we were bringing. They wanted us to cover the couch, this should have been left out for us with a note. Not very happy with this rental.

Davis trip 2024

This was not a pleasure vacation for us. We were here too, lay my mother-in-law to rest so we were only there at night with family the rest of the time, but we were quite pleased with the cabin, peaceful and quietness. The only issue we had was that it was Advertised to have a whirlpool spa/hot tub It did not. This trip it was not a big issue though. We were in this area though to visit family. We will check for this cabin first.
