Southern Comfort Cabin- minutes from the river and the lake!

This is the destination you've been looking for in Arkansas. Our place is located within minutes of some of our areas main attractions. The Little Missouri River is a quick two miles from here where you can begin a fun filled day of trout fishing. If boating is on your days agenda we are moments from beautiful Lake Greeson. Perhaps digging for diamonds is on your bucket list. We are moments from the Crater of Diamonds as well. It's truly a great central location to do all of this and more.

We have everything you need to stay a while and enjoy all of the beautiful nature that abounds here in Murfreesboro. Our cabin is situated on a three acre tract overlooking a pond. The cabin sleeps six comfortably. We have a full kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom, and comfy living room with flat screen tv, DVD player, and Direct TV. After a full day of fun you can come to your home away from home and grill out on one of our grills (charcoal &/gas), build a fire in the fire pit & watch our ducks on the pond & the fireflies buzz about. Come visit. You'll be glad you did.

Loved this cabin!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was extremely clean, plenty of linens, dishes, etc. No hassle with check in or check out process. Definitely will be back!

Diamond hunting stay

Very spacious, clean, convenient to everything. Couch very uncomfortable. Fell on 2 inch concrete edge of patio during trip to outdoor laundry room trying to avoid giant wood bees. Owner pleasant and welcoming.

Awesome stay

Awesome stay. Great place, super clean. Friendly and responsive host. Entrance a little tricky at night. Whole family loved it. Will definitely stay again. Close to Crater of diamonds, and has loaner tools.

Unique and Perfect

This property sits just outside of town and was absolutely perfect. It is an old storefront that has been turned into 2 rental units. The cabin was decorated in a unique and rustic way that was an absolute delight. Very quiet area, with lots of fireflies, deer, nature sounds and an occasional visiting dog. Mason was a fantastic host, giving us some local areas to check out and accepting information of places he should visit from me as well. There was a slight issue of some overgrowth around the firepit, and he had it taken care of right away. The cabin itself is perfect for a couple or family of 4, with ample room for everyone. The mattress on the bed in the back bedroom has a tendency to cave towards the middle, but we were so tired from being outside enjoying nature that it wasn't an issue. The Mexican restaurant right in town is an ABSOLUTE MUST to eat at - best, authentic Mexican good we have ever had. If we ever return to the Murfreesboro area, we will definitely look Mason up for renting again.

Close enough to town far enough away to relax.

Cute metal building conversion. There were plenty of places to sleep. Two twins, a double, and a queen. Queen was on wheels and we had adventures each time one of us would get on or off the bed. It ONLY moved 4-6 inches. LOL! Location was great. We appreciated the supply of tools to use at the Crater of Diamonds; just down the road a few minutes. When using the bathroom we’re made sure our waist and chests looked great! Haha. Overall, we’d stay again.

Great Cabin For Diamond Hunters

Our family of four stayed at this cabin for our Spring Break trip to Murfreesboro to visit Crater of Diamonds State Park. The cabin was great. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out. The kitchen had all of the essentials to make meals during our stay. The living room was cozy with a large window for an outside view. We enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the porch chairs and listening to the birds. The cabin is about a ten minute drive through town to the state park. The owner was very responsive with their communication. In all, we really enjoyed this cabin and recommend it to anyone looking to stay local while visiting the state park.

Needs air

House seems to be to tight. Needs a fan in front room.portable or ceiling. Night light in the kitchen doesn't work. Needs fire exit in rear of house. Front door knob hard to turn. Dryer door requires shut hard to operate the dryer.

Quaint little getaway spot

We rent this cabin in June to visit family and go fishing at the lake. We rent this time for our Davis Family Reunion. It the perfect size for two adults or six. Great little spot for family vacation. It has a kitchen with pots and pans for cooking meals. We love sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the mornings. We also like to fish quit a bit. A great little place for fisherman to stay. We used Action Fishing Guide services at the Lake. Matt Baker was a wonderful guide very knowledgeable. We will definitely stay there in the future. As far as the Mason the owner of the place he was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We love visiting with you this past weekend. Thanks for having an affordable clean place and the air conditioning works very well. I high recommend this clean no frills spot for a little getaway. Hope to see you again soon. James and Kathryn

Hidden gem!

The cabin was wonderful! Spacious, plenty of blankets and towels, all the kitchen accessories we needed. Beautiful pond, quiet, private but very close to anything we needed. Host was fabulous. Definitely recommend!

Quaint little cabin

We love our stay at Southern Comfort Cabin. The place was very clean and neat. Perfect little spot a little rustic but air conditioner work great. We parked our truck and boat under the cover. Listen to the night sounds sitting on the front porch in the evening. We will definitely stay here again.
