Near Snowmobile trails. Bright, cheerful, newly remodled home overlooking Pictured Rock Golf Course. Private back yard with firepit and plenty of outdoor space to play yard games. Bike to Miner's Castle or Miner's Beach (6.5 miles). 5 minutes to Munising to see all the attractions.

This home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is also 2 rollaway beds with memory foam mattresses and a pull out sofa. Comfortably sleeps 10. Walk out the front door and on to the course. On a country road yet close to town to see all that Munising has to offer.

You will have access to the house and the entire yard.

I live near if I am needed. Otherwise, you are on your own. I will get you a code for entry.

Great snowmobiling home base. Near Miners Castle and Miners Castle Trail. 5 miles from Bear Trap Bar.

Home is comfy, spotlessly clean, andhas everything you need. Location is convenient to everything and has a beautiful, quiet setting. Host went above and beyond for us and communication was fast and easy. When back in this area will stay here again!

It was a perfect space for 2 couples with a bedroom & bath on each end of the house. It would be great for a family with kids also. It was clean, very quiet neighborhood, fire pit in the yard that we didn’t use due to weather. The kitchen was well equipped & having laundry supplies was a bonus! We would stay again. Thank you

The owner was very responsive when I contacted her with a question regarding the roll-away beds. Many amenities made our stay comfortable. The property was clean, and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. The two bathrooms were a convenient feature. The listing states that there are two roll-away beds with memory foam mattresses. These were completely unusable during our stay as they were actually cots with legs that didn't lock, meaning they wouldn't stay up. My son was fine with putting the mattress on the floor and sleeping on that, but the mattress flattened like a pancake with his 89 lbs. of weight. If you are relying on these roll-away beds, like we were when booking this property, then I would look elsewhere. The futon-like couches in the living room could be used by a child, but not by a teen or adult, without potentially breaking the furniture. Therefore, this property sleeps six people. The kitchen was mostly well-equipped. The inexpensive pots and the single-temperature burners of the gas stove, which only had one setting (extra hot), made cooking a little frustrating. Upgrading the roll-away beds/mattresses and some of the kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, and towels would make this property worth booking again.

Great location, improvements needed

First the positive: great location near Painted Rocks National Lakeshore. House surrounded by a lot of green grass which made it enjoyable to play in the yard. We played frisbee. It does have wifi and TV. Unfortunately, there were two issues that made it challenging to fully enjoy our stay. The pots and pans are in bad shape and made it very difficult to cook anything. The worse part were the windows with the ac units. These windows were not sealed properly and a lot of mosquitos entered the house during our stay.

Mosquitos were entering the house through gaps around window AC units and through the heating vents. We all got hit, but our poor infant got so many bites on his face and hands. This put a damper on our stay.Apart from that, the location is perfect, and the property met our expectations.

Location was great. House was adequate but Some things in house need attention. Shower head in bathroom is loose. Pots and pans are severely degraded with Teflon coming off. We could not use them. AC has a hard time keeping cool in the heat. Host was great to work with and communication was good.

Close to Everything

The location for this stay was definitely the best part. It was a great starting spot for everything we were wanting to do. Very close to Munising and all the food/amenities that provided. The place itself was well furnished but the mattress quality/comfort was not the greatest. Overall everything was great about this stay. Would definitely recommend it to others!!!

Perfect winter hiking stay

We spent a eeek here. 2 couples, winter hiking all the frozen ice structures in the area. The set up was perfect for 2 couples, with a bed and bath at opposite ends of the unit. Nice, open common area. Plenty of if parking if you have snow mobile yraikers.Jesse was very easy to work with. We would recommend to other travelers in the area.

Snowmobiling

Good spot with a couple options to the snowmobile trail. Nice driveway area with plenty of room for trailers. House was warm and comfortable for us to make meals and relax. Great communication with the owner and house was as expected from the description.
