This is the perfect base for any adventure from water sports to trail riding with both the public boat launch and ORV-SNOWMOBILE TRAIL ACCESS LESS THAN 1/2 BLOCK AWAY. Stop by the Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck Tours, which is right next door, during the summer months for an amazing two hour excursion, SCUBA diving trips (must be certified), or to find out about the many other fantastic things to do while in Munising.

Generally speaking the place was comfortable and inviting. The bed was comfortable, Enjoyed watching the sunrise from the little deck. That said, the sofa was a bit hard and there was only one recliner. Everything worked but the Roku was a bit of a mystery. Not really a place for children.

Can't say enough good things about this place! We stayed 30 days and did not want to leave! We used it as home base to see the whole UP. It is right next door to the Shipwreck Tour place, and it was great sitting on the deck watching them load and unload! We used the deck ALOT as its a beautiful view. Beds were great, kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Thank you Kate!

Absolutely Perfect

Love everything about our stay! It had everything we needed for our party of 5. Spectacular views and great people watching. We biked to downtown multiple times on the bike path. Can’t wait to come back again!

Another delightful stay.

Great stay excellent view

Very nice stay. We were worried about being so close to all this boat action but ended up finding the view and all the activity very fun to watch. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were out on the water most days and when the weather didn't cooperate still enjoyed just sitting in the cottage watching the lake.

Perfect UP experience

The villa was great. Washer & dryer were so nice to have right in the villa. Kate was an awesome host. Whenever we had a problem or question she was always gracious to help. Loved being close to town & right on the water & enjoyed watching the guests on the glass bottom shipwreck boat. Even after a month we were not anxious to leave for home.

Perfect Munising Spot

We have stayed at this cozy location numerous times and always enjoy the view of Lake Superior and the proximity to hikes, beaches as well as downtown Munising. Can’t wait to return next year!

Over looking Lake Superior - spectacular views easy walk into town. Trails in the forest behind the property to Au Train and beyond . Kayaking and cruises on your door step - wish we’d booked for a longer stay

Beautiful Views & Comfortable

Kate was very friendly! We had problems getting in as we had the wrong code... however, Kate very quickly took care of that. The place is very clean with comfortable mattresses. Beautiful views from the porch! Sunrises were especially beautiful to watch (& then go back to the comfortable beds)! Could use luggage racks in bedrooms to keep things off the floor... but that was a very minor thing. Everything was provided. Would stay again! Would be nice to have at least one dedicated parking spot but that was minor too... thank you for a wonderful week Kate!!
