Great location between Munich and Starnberger Lake

This place is in a great location on a train route to Munich (45 minutes to Marienplatz), or the other direction to Tutzing, which is a cute lake town worth visiting. Also situated a nice day trip away from Neuschwanstein. For Americans, take your power adapters, there were no USBs to plug into at the place. The dryer has a reservoir that collects water, that is different from American dryers, a tip if your clothes don't seem to be drying. We had fun playing the fussball game downstairs.

Great stay

Agnes's stay was clean and convenient to Munich and surrounding areas. The neighborhood is quiet and Gauting is quite lovely. I would recommend if you are exploring Munich and Bavaria. Communication was great with Agnes as she was very responsive to my communications. Space was roomy for a family of five and kitchen well equipped .

Ansprechende große Ferienwohnung kompiett ausgestattet mit Terrasse.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Anbindung zur Stadtmitte, kein Problem.

Schöner Kurztrip nach Gauting/München

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Gauting sehr genossen, die Wohnung hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen und unsere Kinder haben sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben aufgrund der guten Lage Ausflüge zum Wörthsee, Starnberger See und nach München gemacht. Die Wohnung ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Sportferien

Gästehaus und Umgebung sind ideal für Bike, Wanderferien oder Ausflüge. Die Wohnung ist gross, perfekt eingerichtet und alle Gebrauchsgegenstände sind vorhanden, wir haben es sehr genossen. Die Wohnlage ist ruhig und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nah. Perfekt.

Great location and helpful / friendly owners

The property is in a great location as a base for day trips in southern Germany / Austria. The unit was clean and as advertised and the owners were always available and very helpful. Our family of four w/two adult kids, would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a great time! The property was beautiful and very well kept. Communication with Agnes was fantastic. A great spot for our day in Munich and surrounding area. We also loved walking around Gauting and enjoying the local food and shops.

Great house and location for our trip!

The communication with the owner was excellent and always prompt. We had no issues finding the house and all was in perfect order. There were 8 of us total and there were plenty of beds and towels. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Good place to stay for our visit to Munich and Neuschwanstein

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this location! The host was highly-responsive, and even helped us with how to use public transportation. Street parking was easy for our rental car, and we were always able to park directly in front of the apartment for free. It was a short drive to the train station, which provided easy transport into Munich. Konditorei-Snackeria was a good recommendation from our host, and our go-to place for breakfast. We also liked being to the West of Munich, for a shorter drive to Neuschwanstein Castle. Don't miss the Apline Coaster on the way back from the Castle. Having two bathrooms was helpful, and the apartment was very clean and secure. From the pictures, we did not realize that the bunk bed for our kids was in the main bedroom with us. It would've been better if the bunk bed was located in the second bedroom, so we could go to bed at a different time from the kids without disturbing them. Overall, good place to stay for our family!

Ein angenehmer Aufenthalt

Der Bungalow befindet sich in einem sehr ruhigen Wohnviertel in Gauting, einem Vorort von München. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Einen wirklichen Garten hat das Haus nicht, aber eine kleine Terasse. Die Betten sind bequem, alles ist sauber und im Keller steht sogar ein Tischfußballspiel für gelangweilte Teenager... Unser Plan war es München mit unserem Sohn zu erkunden und auch mal einen Abstecher an die Alpen zu machen. Dafür war das Haus in dieser Lage bestens geeignet. Der Bahnhof mit S-Bahn-Anschluss nach München ist nicht weit weg. So kann man sich den Stress mit dem Auto im Münchner Stadtverkehr ersparen. Alles in Allem ein angehmer und gelungener Kurzurlaub. Wenn wir mal wieder nach München kommen werden wir das Haus wieder anmieten. wenn es verfügbar ist.
