While the hotel is quite conveniently located near the airport, the overall experience was underwhelming and ultimately disappointing. It appears the management is overly focused on generating revenue rather than prioritizing guest satisfaction and efficient operations.
Here are the specific issues encountered:
1. I had two rooms booked under separate reservations. I called the hotel twice—seven days and two days before check-in—to request that the rooms be located next to each other, a request I believe is feasible for any organized hotel. However, upon check-in, the staff had no record or mention of this note on our reservations and could not provide adjacent rooms. We were placed far apart on the same floor. If a guest takes the time to call and make a reasonable request, the hotel management should make a better effort to accommodate it. This demonstrates poor organizational and management skills.
2. Both rooms were booked at the same rate and were the same room type. Despite this, one of the rooms provided was noticeably 25% smaller than the other. I'm unsure how many rooms are this inconsistent, but the entire hotel and corridor felt cramped. I expected a higher standard from an establishment that claims to be a 4-star hotel.
3. The hotel's policies appear to be heavily geared towards generating extra revenue:
High Surcharge for Extras: While the ₹1500 charge for an additional mattress is transparent, it is still an excessively high fee.
