Amazing Villa with Pool 5 mins to Beach - Palm Grove 1

  • Palm Grove 1 is a lovely peaceful, bright and spacious 5 bedroom / 3.5 bathroom villa, with a large private pool, enclosed in a secluded lush tropical garden within the safe and established neighborhood of Mullins. This is the perfect spot if you are a first time visitor to Barbados or a long time repeat - anyone looking to enjoy Barbados fully will love this spot. The villa is on a quiet residential road, within easy walking distance of 2 glorious beaches - Gibbs and Mullins, and numerous bars/restaurants while only 5 mins from Speightstown and 10 mins from Holetown.

    Set on 1/2 an acre with lush tropical palms surrounding the property - you've got lots of space and privacy to fully detach and unwind. This is a great villa for a large family or a group of friends. The pool deck is sure to be a hit - with a large pool and lots of sun loungers and couches to relax, tan or just chat. The covered verandah has even more lounge areas including a large dining table - perfect for whenever you want to sit down with everyone (we highly recommend trying some local macaroni pie!)

    All of the bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and four of the bedrooms also have doors opening onto the verandah and pool deck. Bedroom 1 is ensuite, while bedroom 2 and 3 share a bathroom and bedroom 3 and 4 share a bathroom. Lovely high vaulted ceilings make the bedrooms feel light and airy. The living room has two comfy couches, a TV, lots of books and even an office space (should you need to connect during your holiday). There is also a BBQ available for guests to use.

    We hope that you will love this holiday home as much as we do! It's the perfect place for those who want to relax by the pool and stroll to the beach, while still having lots of nearby activities and areas to explore.

    *Please note the house behind Palm Grove is undergoing works. Also, while the bedrooms all have air-conditioning, the living areas do not - but are kept cool by ceiling fans.

we had a great time close to beach and restaurants outdoor living space was incredible kitchen bit tight but adequate well appointed with dishes and utensils we left a coffee maker which is essential cleaning/pool staff and gardener were friendly and helpful no complaints highly recommend this rental property thanks

We absolutely loved our stay with our children and extended family. The staff at BSL Rentals were incredible to work with and we loved the location and neighborhood. The grounds were immaculate and the house extremely well appointed. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay in a peaceful location, steps from the beach and some of the best restaurants on the island.

Family Vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Barbados. Our villa was in a great location next to Mullins Beach and some great restaurants. The villa had most everything we needed and our housekeeper Donna was excellent! The outdoor space next to the pool was a great location for our meals and games nights. Thank you for sharing your villa for the many family memories we will keep forever.

Great Location and pool

Lovely villa, with a great pool and well maintained / clean. Concierge service was very helpful. Excellent location near to a small beach and lovely “Sea Shed”. There is a new building being constructed next to the villa which can sometimes be noisy during the daytime but most of the time it is fine. Keen to go back to Barbados.

House at Palm Grove 1

The house was in a great location. Only a short walk to the beach. The outdoor area was fantastic, that was where we spent most of our time. The setup of the house was perfect for us, one small issue is the bathroom shared by 2 bedrooms. There is only sliding doors, so no real privacy when you’re using the bathroom

Amazing Vacation Rental!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Palm Grove. The house was clean and well kept and perfect for our group of 8. The two master ensuites were ideal for the parents and the kids shared the middle bedrooms and bathrooms. We spent many hours in the backyard pool and had morning visits from green monkeys who came to munch the fruit from the mango trees on the property. We took daily trips to Mullins Beach (less than a 5 min walk up the street) to swim in the ocean. We had a lovely lunch at the Sea Shed restaurant. Would definitely rent this villa again. 5 star!

Exceeds expectations

This villa was incredible, beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for our family. The pool was the highlight with multiple lounging areas and beautiful foliage as scenery made the place feel like our own private oasis. The beach really is a quick walk away too. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen was equipped with everything we could need including tupperware for storing leftovers. We all agreed that we would come back in a heartbeat. The only issue was the 2 single bed room was advertised as being able to push the beds together to make a king which was not possible because of the bed frames. Other than that the villa was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. 10/10

Reflection on Palm Grove 1

I have already written a review but I wanted to reinforce my comments. My main grumbles are the kitchen which is very poor. The heat whilst cooking a Christmas dinner was unbearable. No air con and a single speed fan that was like waving a feather around with almost no lighting. The fridge was great the master bedroom was also perfect, the pool and garden were lovely, no aircon in the lounge made that room unusable. Again we still had a great time but I would drop this villa until improvements are made.

40th Birthday. We just returned from a vacation of a lifetime. I celebrated my 40th with a group of friends that stayed with us in our beautiful villa. The villa was truly a paradise, even better in person than the pictures. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable and the backyard was a perfect oasis that made you not even want to leave. Great places for shade and seating galore. The temperature of the pool was perfect which is where we spent most of our time together. They supplied everything from bathroom essentials, loads of towels, robes, floaties for the pool and plenty of glassware and dishes with many serving platters. It was a true paradise. Very friendly communication. Great location as it's a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. We would all stay here again. Only thing to add would maybe be a bbq in yard, and maybe a game for the yard. All in all 5 stars 🏆 Thank you for a memorable vacation

Wow wow wow!!!! This place was amazing! Honestly the pictures don't do it justice. It was clean and beds comfortable. The backyard and pool area are HUGE and very secluded; it feels like your own little oasis. The kitchen has all updated amenities and plenty of dish-ware. All the bathrooms were spacious and had updated showers with consistent hot water. Such a beautiful space. The beach is about a 5 minute walk along with some pretty good restaurants (two "fancy" vibes and one local vibe). It looks like they addressed the issues from previous reviews. The hostess Taunia was AMAZING. From organizing the chef (would highly recommend), all of the transports, finding a decorator with the best little touches for my best friends Bachelorette… Service was just perfect. Always very responsive and making sure we were good at all times. Will be staying here any time we come to Barbados.

We spent 2 weeks here and absolutely adored every blissful moment. This is a beautifully appointed villa in a prime location. We took daily strolls down to the beach. Amazing restaurants like SeaShed are just steps away, as is a minimart where we could pick up basics. The house itself is lovely - exactly as in the photos. Because we were there for so long, we occasionally had to hop on work calls and thankfully the wifi was solid. Needless to say, we spent most of our time out on the patio by the pool, which was divine. Monkeys visited each morning to feast on mangoes…we were advised to keep our distance and let them get on with it, and we're glad we did as without our meddling they were more animated. Honestly this place is a mini-Eden - ensconced amidst beautiful landscaping, comfortable, well designed and ideally located. Can't rave enough. I have been to Barbados many times and stayed in many different types of lodging. I can honestly say that if you're weighing your options, do yourself a favour and book this place. You won't regret it!

I'm very pleased with everything about the villa my family of 10 children and adults the beach restaurant's in walkable distant I was very surprised we had the villa cleaned twice while staying only 9 nights .
