"Booked as a short stay for our wedding anniversary. I've seen this property many times as we've walked between Windermere and Bowness and been intrigued by the waterball outside. Didn't actually realise it was this hotel when I booked. We stayed in a lovely suite with an outside hot tub, a steam room,small sitting area and jacuzzi bath, as well as separate shower room. "The hotel was very close to Windermere lake and very central to see the whole of the Lake District, which was my plan. The staff, especially the breakfast staff, were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel doesnt have a lift which was a shame and my room was up 2 flights of stairs which was difficult for me as i have bad knees. Parking was good though the spaces in additional parking are a bit tricky to manoeuvre, but possible. The breakfast was superb, i liked that...

"Lovely stay . The location is beautiful overlooking the lake. The room was big and nice although quite dark as the window was quite small . Spa good but not much choice only 2 steam rooms and swimming pool. Nice seating on the balcony from spa. Breakfast was good although the portion was quite small . That is my husband opinion 😄. The only thing I didn't like was to pay £25 for parking. I think it is quite a lots a specially that the hotel is not cheap . So when you spend £200 for room you not...

"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "
