    Our home accommodates a maximum of 12 registered guests. Additional guests may be permitted for an additional per-person fee and must receive approval in advance.

    Pets may also be permitted with prior approval and an applicable pet fee. Please contact us before bringing a pet so arrangements can be confirmed.

    For the comfort and safety of our guests, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the property.

    Please also note that the basement is not accessible to guests and is not included as part of the rental space.

It was a very convenient location. Less than 20 minutes from everything one could hope to do in the Poconos. The house itself was beautiful with many spacious areas and many memories were made in that house. I would stay here again!

This is a large house with lots of space and updates. It’s in a good location, near shopping and major roads. The communication and rental process were easy. Host was responsive when we had questions.

Great place to hang and go to some local fun

I love on the same street as the house and needed more space for when my family came in for a big event. It was a perfect place to hang out and enjoy all the family. Plenty of room to spread out, very clean and comfortable.

Staging house for wedding

The place was fairly sparsely furnished, but was adequate. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Kitchen was adequate. We were only there two nights, but it was plenty roomy for 10 adults and 5 young children.

Amazing Stay !!

We had an amazing stay at Helen's place! The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, with plenty of options nearby. Helen was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We appreciated the extra touches, such as Hot tub.. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. Five stars and can't wait to come back.

The location was close to the town and nearby stores. house is clean and well kept. The host is easy to communicate with. A lot of rooms to stay and enjoy. Just suggest place need more utensils but not a big deal cuz we used mostly disposable.

Home away from home

The house was so comfortable and clean it felt like home we all enjoyed the atmosphere and the space and that kitchen was spacious well stocked and had enough space for us ladies to get things done. The place was freezing! Following the directions to use the heaters was only successful on a couple of the units. Most of them just sat at the minimum heat levels. NONE of the TVs worked or at least didn't have any service. There were NO directions on how to use them, and many tries with both remotes resulted only in frustration. Someone left the window open in the main bathroom until we got there...don't know why. The ceiling in one of the rooms was coming down, and there were cracks in the molding. We took pictures of all of these. The upstairs bathroom is nearly unusable, and there is an ill-fitting blind in it. The Christmas tree seemed a little bit cheery at least, although it was March. There was a beeping like a bad smoke alarm battery that we could never locate, and it may have been locked in an area we couldn't get in...maybe in the fire hazard area of the living room with the many cords connecting to different items that we couldn't get to. Some of the furniture was shaky or torn...I frankly have never had a worse experience in a dwelling, but gave it two stars because it did have a good number of rooms and bathrooms. I don't understand all the high ratings that this has received, as I would never stay here agian, and probably not use VRBO again, either.

Family get together.

Past VRBO experiences included instruction booklet for the specifics of the property - heaters, TVs (ok, we're boomer impaired). Other than WIFI notes there were none but we figured out most things. We were confused about the change in access code between our initial arrival and the next entry. Not somethings we've experienced with VRBOs in the past. The owner did reach out to offer help if we needed anything. We had two toddlers so spacious rooms were ideal but we suspect the mop last used for the floors needs changing. Upon arrival we had to remove the mouse trapped in stove storage area - couldn't detach from sticky pad so put it in the yard. Garbage disposal never worked so we had to plunge frequently. Kitchen utilities were sparse for cooking - no casserole dish, measuring cup. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. All in all we had a nice get together with family we don't frequently see but we can't give it 5 stars.

House is nice and spacious but heat system sucks and when trying to connect heaters brakers go off not recommend this house for winter time.

We really like the house it was big and comfortable. But it needs more mirrors and dresses in the bedrooms. And the person who cleans the house needs clean better. Under the kitchen sick was mouse pop and the floors dirty and dusty. I came to celebrate my husband and daughter birthday with the family. Thank you everything else was good.
