Located in the Sylvan Shores area just 2 miles from Downtown Mount Dora. Fully remodeled 1956 house with all the comforts of home! Lots of restuarants, shopping and antiquing in the area! A quiet neighborhood with nearby walking path in Sylvan Park. Minutes from Renninger's Antique Center. This home is a great place to relax and enjoy the sites of Mount Dora, Eustis and Tavares. Lots to do in the surrounding areas!

This is our 3rd time staying at Kathy's house and she didn't disappoint. Beautiful charming home with all amenities and close to downtown Mt. Dora. Highly recommend this house.

The hidden treasure!

This is my second time renting from Kathy. She's a great host and thinks of every little detail for your stay. The bed is so comfy and the pillows are dreamy. Her linens are top of the line along with the towels. The house is spotless she even had coffee and creamers for you. The location is minutes away from downtown Mt.Dora and the flea markets. I'm already looking forward to next year!

Perfect home in Mt. Dora, 5 mins from downtown

This home is in perfect condition, perfectly clean and with everything you could possibly need. Kathy, the host, was so accommodating and even brought supplies (flashlights & batteries) due to a possible hurricane blowing through. (It didn't.) Quiet, residential street though tire noise from cars was audible from front bedroom when they passed. Nothing to prevent anyone from staying here, though. Thank you Kathy, would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

Kathy was fantastic she thought of every little detail. Her house was as neat as a pin. I have a few questions she was quick to respond even if it was a holiday. I never slept so well the bed was so comfy it was great having a washer,dryer. The location was great close to downtown Mt.Dora and the flea market. We will definitely be back next year! Also Kathy really personalized her house for her guests she had water in the fridge coffee in the cabinet and in case you forgot your shampoo and soap she had you covered. I forgot my soap. Lol Thank you again Kathy

Fabulous!

I have to say this is the best home away from home I have ever stayed in. It was exactly as advertised and more. Close to everything. Well stocked and the attention to detail with kitchen items, seating, outside areas to enjoy, down to the toiletries made us feel at home and welcome immediately. The beds were so comfortable! We highly recommend this little house.

Everything was neat as a pen!!!!!! Well stocked in all the rooms--Kitchen, Bathrooms, Bedrooms--did not lack for any necessities! We would definitely stay there again!!

Comfortable home away from home for R&R.

This house is very clean and well stocked in kitchen and baths. Comfortable furniture throughout. Especially like the 2 screened porches for reading and dining. Location is convenient to shopping, restaurants and the sites of the area. Unfortunately you are pretty much on your own while there - no maps, restaurant menus, suggestions or pamphlets of points of interest. When does the trash go out? What channels do we get on cable? What should we do with towels and sheets when we leave? This rental is well worth the money and we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Roomy bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of great kitchenware, terrific decor, great location in quiet neighborhood near the lake. Loved it!
