This cottage was great and had everything we needed. It was relaxing and cozy. You can walk down to a nice lake with benches, and it’s only a 5 minute drive from downtown Mount Dora which is such a quaint and small town with shops and restaurants. We also kayaked through Dora Canal and another lake. The hosts were kind and left us snacks and a bottle of wine too. We highly recommend it. It was a nice getaway weekend from St. Petersburg.

Barbra & Mace were very accommodating to all our needs. The kitchen is well stocked for a lengthy stay and cooking in. The bedroom is cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect for a walk along lake Gertrude. A longer walk or very short drive to reach all the action in downtown Mount Dora is also convenient. This was our second stay and will definitely be going back.
