Quintessential Winnipesaukee Lake Cottage Sleeps 8 with Views and Dock

Maybe you were lucky enough to spend your childhood summers at the family lake-house or, perhaps, you always dreamed of whiling away your summer days at the lake. Whatever the case, prepare to wow your nearest and dearest with a memory-filled vacation to this quintessential Winnipesaukee lake house!

Imagine waking up and watching the sun rise over the Ossipee Mountains as you sip your morning coffee out on the dock while the rest of the group sleeps in. Once they emerge from their slumber you'll gather on the screen porch to plan your days adventures. Maybe getting out on the lake for some tubing, waterskiing, throwing a line to catch dinner or just jumping into the water and swimming out to the raft to work on your tan (water entry is by stone step down into the water from land or the ladder on the dock). The dock will accommodate one boat up to 22 feet in length.

The cottage boasts 2 bedrooms on the first floor along with the kitchen/living/dining area and two full baths (with shower stalls). A screen porch and large 3-season room with 3 futon beds rounds out the main level. Upstairs, the younger set will call dibs on which of the 4 twin beds is theirs and where there's sure to be loads of belly-laughs and late night ghost stories told as the adults warn them to quiet down at bed time.

As if this wasn't enough to entice you - you may bring your best friend (dog, that is) depending on the size and kind and with the owners prior approval and $175 pet fee. Please ask about bringing your dog at the time of booking.

LINENS: Please note: Sheets and towels are not included with this rental. If you would like to rent sheets and/or bath towel packages from At The Lake Vacation Rentals, the cost of sheets (including arrival bed making) for this home is $225. Towel packages are $12 per person and include 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to rent sheets and bath towels as availability is limited.
Water source for the house is from the lake. Use bottled water for consumption.
The woodstove in the living room is off limits and is not to be used.
Parking for 5 cars.
