"We went to check in note in window to call all locked up, was shown to our room cobwebs on inside of window frame had not been cleaned brown bed linnen alarm bells pulled back could see what looked like stains. We looked at each other no way and we walked out would want a refund of my money "

"This is our second visit to the hotel. Last year we stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. This time, we stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, it was stunning, especially the modern bathroom with lovely quality toiletries. Both the breakfast & dinner were delicious. We enjoyed being able to choose a cooked breakfast from their varied selection. Would highly recommend. "

"Stayed over Easter. Staff are brilliant, very helpful and attentive and friendly. Menu for breakfast and dinner was lovely and great value for money. The rooms are simply decorated, clean maybe slightly small but appreciate it is a very old building. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and warm too. "Carla was fantastic at breakfast whilst we had our stay. She was always on hand even when she was run off her feet. Room was nice for a family Area fantastic to hire a boat and walk around. We will be back again to stay. Thanx to the team x "
