"There is NO POOL anymore. Gym was locked. In the first room I was given the heater didn't work properly. Also noticed numerous ants near the heater in this 1st room. Was immediately given a 2nd room which was great. At 5:30 AM the next morning the individual in the next room turned the TV on loudly. I called the front desk and the TV noise issue next door ended quickly."

We did discover on this trip that we should have waited a week or two since they were in transition to full season services. "Sadly, the Ben Miller is outdated and really needing a makeover. Straight from the outset, the front lobby was shabby (with furniture that was seriously in need of a change), the dining area resembled something out of a lodge in the Poconos in the 60's/70's (certainly not fine dining) with ample evidence of roof leaks and the view to the river having debris quite visible. Our room, while clean, showed evidence of much wear and tear; what stuck in our minds was the rust visible on the ceiling...

"This is the only hotel nearby, so there aren’t really many options to begin with. That being said, my overall experience was good (except for some noisy people in the room upstairs, which I reported to reception, but it wasn’t really addressed); it’s close to the town and in a quiet area, and unless you have noisy neighbors, you should have a pretty decent night’s sleep.
