The Anchorage - sea views and beach on doorstep

The Anchorage is a brand new, beautifully-appointed holiday cottage right next to the Little Shore Beach and boasts breathtaking views along the coast towards Alnmouth.

The cottage sleeps 5 guests across 3 bedrooms. It also comprises large dining / living space perfect for the family, with a log burner, stylish family bathroom, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.

To the rear is a private, enclosed, outside space with comfortable garden furniture.
The space
The Anchorage has been designed and decorated with your absolute comfort and enjoyment at the forefront, boasting stunning features throughout the property.

On the ground floor is a large living and dining area with comfy sofa and leather slipper chairs in front of a fabulous log burner. The living area also has a large flat screen smart TV. The gorgeous dining table is the perfect place to enjoy meals in with family and friends. The kitchen is of a very high standard with high-spec appliances, including coffee machine. To the rear of the cottage, is a good sized private, enclosed space with comfortable garden furniture, including egg chair!

On the first floor are three beautiful bedrooms - 1 king, 1 double and 1 single. The front two bedrooms have fabulous views of the Little Shore beach and surrounding coastline. The king size bedroom at the back of the house is also equipped with a Dyson hairdryer. Smart TVs are also fitted in the two larger bedrooms.

We absolutely loved this place. We chose it for the location, which is right on the seafront and for the authentic exposed stonework and regal decor, it was just beautiful. Access to the property was easy with a safe key by the door and the place was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Simon had left a wonderful welcome pack in the kitchen of home-made treats which went down very well indeed and was very much appreciated. The furniture and soft furnishings are very high quality and gave the place a real touch of class. We requested more pods for the coffee machine and Simon delivered them straight away. The bedrooms had the same exposed stonework which was just lovely and we all had a great nights sleep every night, as the beds were very comfy. There is a cute courtyard garden which is a great suntrap and gets the early sun, so it was lovely sitting out there in the morning with a cup of coffee. I would definitely recommend The Anchorage to anyone looking to stay close to Little Shore and my family and I would definitely stay there again.
