I really enjoyed my stay, the property was beautiful, with lush landscapes, and beautiful, clean, rustic and cozy rooms. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and well kept. The deck was full of beautiful foliage and a beautiful view of the vineyard. The property is gated, you enter with a code. I traveled alone for work, I felt very safe in my room and the property. The owners gave me privacy, and they were easily accessible when I needed. Thank you for an amazing stay. Overall, this property is a beautiful gem located in our backyard. I highly recommend it!! Thank you :-)

Bathroom small/door to room broke

Overall, wasn’t horrible; beautiful property; wish we had had time to get in the jacuzzi; the bathroom was fine, if you only have to rinse off, but if you’re a woman, and have to get fully ready, water goes all over bathroom floor because there’s only 1 shower door that goes half way across the shower. Luckily, the owners put plenty of towels to mop up the water on the bathroom floor after showering. The other thing was that there are no shelves in bathroom, and the hooks they supply are too small, and everything falls off onto floor. . The other issue was that we went to dinner, and couldn’t lock our door (I guess there was a U lock in the nightstand that we didn’t know that we could use for the door), but when we came back from dinner, our door was locked and we couldn’t open it; had to look into the owner’s bedroom, and get their attention to come open it; I guess it was broke. The door next to it was shattered when we checked in, but was double paned, so I didn’t really mind. All in all, not a horrible experience, but just some glitches. Property was gorgeous though.

It was alright…

Well for starters the tv size was about the size of a small laptop. One of the sliding doors was busted. The landlord couldn’t get the tv apps to work which was not cool. We were bored looking at Moses old school movie. Also the landlord is there working around so you feel like you’re being monitored. It’s not like it’s all your own rental. They rent to others as well. It is a vineyard so I can see that happening. Just wasn’t expecting it. Especially for the price that it cost per night. I couldn’t really bring guest as I am use to other rentals. I just didn’t feel like I paid for something that was mine for the days like at other places I have spent on. Just wasn’t what I was expecting. If you want to get iron and board you have to ask for it. If you want jacuzzi you have to ask for it. Other than that the lady was super nice and my gf was sick and she showed care and that was awesome. The property is very beautiful as it’s more for older people looking to spend time relaxing and with the landlords

What a disaster!

Zero check in instructions upon arrival, no lock on the door, and dirty bed. What a disaster! When we initially arrived on the property, we realized we were given zero check in instructions. We sat outside the front gate without the gate code to access the property. After several attempts to contact the owner we drove over to the target parking lot to investigate what was happening. After more failed phone and message attempts, we contacted VRBO to see what they could do. They attempted to contact the owner as well, with zero success. After about a hour of failed attempts, our friends, who were also staying on the property called, and said they got onto the property by chance, after someone pulled up behind them in the driveway and opened the gate for them. We went back to the property and our friends let us in. After we had accessed the property, the owner had now sent us the check in instructions. Once we got to our suite, we discovered the door lock was broken, and had zero key to lock it from the outside. The door could be easily opened with a pair of small pliers from the outside. The duvet cover was covered in stains and couch in the suite was covered in brown dirt. When we contacted the owner about the broken door and no key, she messaged back saying “the lock recently broke” and “we’ve been hosting for 7 years and never had an incident”. After a few days of this, we decided to leave 2 nights early and book a hotel. Do not stay here.

Villa Riposo Vineyard Stay = Sanctuary

In town for a family event - my only regret is that we didn’t have more leisure time to enjoy the beauty of this property. First, our room was soooo comfortable! The outside area of the property was so lush and inviting, I took every opportunity to enjoy it, often sitting outside to put in my makeup. We were so pleased with this property and its amenities. Would definitely return and recommend to others .. Five stars!!! LOVE

Bait & Switch

I booked this place for my son and his "soon to be bride" to stay in this villa and I was excited about his place because the photos were beautiful. I checked in, no keys to be found and I was told by someone on the property, as she pointed at a the glass door, the room was ours. I walked in and knew it wasn't the room I originally booked. I ran out to see the lady, but she was no where to be found. I contacted the host multiple times, but no response. I left the property immediately. About 35 minutes later, the host, Delyse contacted me and she said they will get the housekeeper to get the room ready tomorrow morning and my son should just stay in the room I originally saw during the day. When my son and his "soon to be bride" checked in, they were tired. They pulled the covers back to crawl into bed, but three spiders crawled out of the covers. Then the WIFI password wasn't working and a some outlets in the room weren't working as well. The next morning, they ran out of toilet paper and I contacted the host. She heard all of my concerns and took take care of the toilet paper issue. However, a few minutes later, Delyse messaged me if I want to leave, however, I was in the middle of the wedding rehearsal and there was no option but to stay because the wedding is the next day. Suffice it to say, there were so many things that went wrong that my son and his bride could not wait to leave. I do not recommend this property to anyone. BTW, they do not give keys. ODD!!!

Relaxing Romantic Luxury Vineyard Villa Riposo

"Villa Reposo" (trans: repose) has apparently been transplanted directly from a southern european plain. Here, old-world beauty and 5-star luxury are the rule. Whether hosting a wedding, or a romantic getaway for two, all required amenities are not only present, but maintained for your comfort at the highest level! Surrounded, on two sides, by a rose-edged vineyard, your private room opens onto a sweeping, sculptured jaccuzi/pool area – complete with bar, barbecue, and outdoor fireplace. Cooling shade is provided by large umbrellas and columned arbors to create multiple, discreet conversation and lounge areas. Just adjacent, a spacious croquet lawn borders. Offering shaded outdoor dining possibilities right out of a Fellini movie, a grape-covered pergola easily seats 20. Should rain appear on the horizon... close by, a large event-barn offers a freestanding, alternative gathering space. With its tasting bar, large flat-screen, and galley-kitchen this freestanding structure can amply serve as a service space suitable for your outdoor event caterer. Your hosts and staff are on hand to answer questions and point out hidden features, yet your sense of privacy can be complete.

Gorgeous Villa

My friend and I stayed here for a girl’s trip and it was even more stunning in person! The property is gated and feels like a private oasis. The scenery and landscaping was beautiful and relaxing, and the hot tub/fire pit was a perfect nighttime activity. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including shower/pool towels, glasses, coffee, and snacks. We were also able to control the room temperature easily. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Location is great with nearby wineries. Overall exceeded my expectations and had a great stay!

A little piece of paradise

We were attending a wedding in Morgan Hill, and found this beautiful property close by the venue. We stayed in the guest house for 5 nights, and loved every moment of our stay. The room was fantastic (with robes and wine glasses waiting patiently on the bed for us when we arrived), the pool and outdoor kitchen were warm and welcoming, the property was well kept and just stunning. Delyse and her staff were very hospitable (and her puppy Toby too!) - including serving us smore's by the fire on a lovely night in. The property is gated, so you feel like you're in your own little private world. Overall, our stay was perfect. Our only recommendation to add to the welcome booklet would be how to exit the property on foot. My hubby is a runner and struggled to figure that out. :) Huge thank you to Delyse for making our first trip (post-covid) one to remember. We will be back!

Little gem

This is a beautiful place. The grounds are magnificent. We had a very nice room that was decorated in modern style and was immaculate. The host has absolutely everything you could possibly need in the room. Very comfortable bed and ability to control room temperature was first rate. In addition, there is a full kitchen in the tasting room that can be used and an outdoor BBQ. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely. Only criticism -I was not sent the number for the entrance gate ahead of my arrival so took a bit of scrambling to get in to the property so make sure to get it ahead of your arrival. Highly recommend this property. The host couple were very welcoming and helpful. You will love this little gem of a place.

Your property was beautiful and provided us with a relaxing retreat to unwind. The room was clean and quite, the hot tub just right, and the vineyard view was amazing. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

Very nice property

Perfect for a small getaway. Quiet neighborhood. Policies in place for COVID. Stayed here during the week and no other renters came until second day, so we had place to ourselves. Would definitely come back.

Amazing Stay!

We had the best time at Hillside. Wonderful accommodations and a beautiful escape from SF - we enjoyed walking the property, having a large fire and relaxing in the hot tub! Communication was great. We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful courtyard setting with pool and flowering plants. Owners are accessible, but not hovering over guests and property. Well suited for couples looking for a getaway, and traveling business people as a change from local hotels

Like being in Tuscany

We absolutely loved our short time at Hill Vineyards. The grounds around the property are exquisite...Beautiful flowers and gorgeous scenery abound. Our days were very busy, so being able to return to this vineyard oasis was a welcome respite. Our accommodations were modern and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The owner, Delyse, has put much thought and care into her rentals. I highly recommend a stay at this lovely property.
