Everything about Latitude Adjustment was perfect for our week vacation. The home was clean and comfortable. Stocked with all the basic necessities. Location was perfect with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The pool was over the top enjoyable. Definitely the highlight of our trip. We will be back again!

Wow! Incredible charming home

This house was the perfect size for our family of four while we visited family along the Emerald Coastline. Spacious, yet cozy…a lot of room for some rest and relaxation. The back deck and yard are beautiful and the pool was amazing! For those with small children, it’s perfect! The pool has a lot of underwater shelves/seats for kids to sit but still be in the water. Just a warning, the tile and sidewalk around the pool gets super hot in the afternoon. Also, the house does not have a tub, so fair warning with littles. Absolutely loved it though - it’ll be our go-to place for every visit we take to NC!

Wonderful vacation!

The property was super clean inside and out. Thought went into the lovely decor and the landscaping is beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit, awesome pool and its privacy and the use of the golf cart. We have always stayed at EI and it was the first time staying in Cape Carteret so we weren’t sure about the location initially. The location was perfect and close to everything that we enjoy. The neighborhood was very quiet. The host was very communicative and super fast to respond with questions. We are looking forward to our visit next year!

Pool getaway

We had a wonderful time at Laura’s cottage! Unfortunately the pool water was cold so we just enjoyed the deck and pool area. It was great to have use of the golf cart! We hope to stay here again soon and Laura is a fantastic host.

Great Property

My sister lives in Cape Carteret and this was the perfect house for us to stay in. All three of my kids loved the pool and it was a short walk to the boat ramp. The house itself was clean and in great condition. Would definitely stay here again!

A hidden gem!

Latitude Adjustment is truly a hidden gem. Perfect for a small family, friends, etc. The proximity to all necessities, beach access, and things to do was great. Everything you could need is provided, the beds are comfy, and the pool is like a private paradise. We had such a great time, and hope to come back in the future.

Awesome seaside property

We couldn't have loved our time at this property more! The house is wonderful and was so well equipped for our family. My kids had a blast swimming in the beautiful pool and riding bikes around this safe neighborhood. The location is so convenient with public beach access just a short ride away. We definitely hope to be back in the future!

Family Vacay!

This property is perfect for any family or couple. The house was very clean and the grounds are beautiful. The pool is an added bonus. We enjoyed one pool day and loved relaxing at the pool after a day on the boat. Laura (The property host) was very responsive. She even helped me when I wanted to add my dog to the reservation. She also sent us a Swansboro community alert when there was a business fire and roads were blocked. Laura definitely went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect! We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Great spot for a family, close to everything!

Really charming little house in a nice neighborhood, within a very easy drive to the beach. With two young kids, I loved that the house was nicely decorated without having a million breakable items within kid reach. The kitchen had everything we needed for basic meal prep (and I loved the cute turquoise stuff!). The pictures don't do justice to how nice the back yard area js - spacious and beautifully landscaped. We had an issue with the door code when we first arrived, but the host was really responsive and it was resolved within minutes.

Better Than the Photos!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived; this location is way, way better than these photos appear! The backyard and deck is very spacious and great for having a summer bbq. The location is great and close to the beach and grocery stories. If you are planning to stay for a long time and love to cook, I would recommend bringing some of your own cooking supplies, dishwasher pods, etc because it isn't fully stocked in that regard. As well as some other paper items like paper towels and toilet paper.

Excellent for our small beach vacation!

This house met all our needs for our stay at the beach. It is about 8 minutes away from Emerald Isle Western Regional beach access and Publix/Food Lion on the island. There are also food and grocery options much closer on the mainland! The house is even close to a tiny park at the end of Dolphin street where a picnic bench and grill are found by the sound. It was a great place to go enjoy the scenery of a sunset and the water. Watch for tiny crabs and birds who live there! The house itself provided a great kitchen and good appliances! The house layout was also spacious and gave us plenty of room for the 5 of us. Our bed had a comfortable firm mattress and unlike most places I've stayed in there were rugs that helped minimize the sand that inevitably follows you from the beach. The materials used in the house gave it a more luxurious feel too. The counters were lovely and I liked the glass used for the showers. The couch was very comfortable and great to relax on after our outings! My only negative for this place was the thin walls. We could hear the living room TV if we were in the primary bedroom so keeping the TV volume low at bed time was a necessity.

Very clean, nice bathrooms, and good location

Nice renovated bathrooms, spacious kitchen, dining, and living. Cool backyard area with a deck and firepit, plenty of parking space. A King, Queen, and two twins. Great communication and it was very clean. Enjoyed our stay! It was easy to get right over the bridge into Emerald Isle.
