Comfortable cottage with large garden a stone's throw from the beaches of Salento

Villetta Scalelle is located between the countryside and the sea of Torre Vado, a charming village in southern Salento, once a fishing village, thanks to its characteristic port.
The house, which is 400 meters from the sea, is part of a construction on two floors but completely independent, and consists of 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin with single beds), 1 complete bathroom with shower, dining room and equipped kitchenette.
The strong point of the house is the splendid veranda surrounded by a luxuriant private garden of 800 square meters, nestled with olive trees and Mediterranean scrub.
The furnished veranda, with a glimpse of the sea, is the perfect place for outdoor lunches and dinners and to enjoy the quiet and tranquility of the countryside in a hammock between two olive trees, in a private and relaxing environment, a stone's throw from the splendid beaches of Pescoluse, the famous Maldives of Salento and the town of Torre Vado, where you can find all the necessary services (bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, newsagents, etc....)

- Linen and towels included.
- Pets are welcome (supplement starting from 50 euros, subject to the size of the animal and subject to confirmation by the owner)
- There are: barbecue, laundry area, washing machine, outdoor shower, TV, air conditioning, Wifi, mosquito nets, parking space inside the property, bicycles on request.

Die Ferienwohnung war super. Es sah auf den Bildern etwas grösser aus aber für 4Personen trotzdem gross genug. Es war sauber und Maria war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, bei Problemen war sie jederzeit erreichbar und hat sich sofort darum gekümmert.

Gepflegte Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist ausreichend groß für 2-4 Personen, modern eingerichtet und sauber. Maria ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die zwar kein Englisch spricht, aber mit Hilfe eines Translators auf ihrem Smartphone trotzdem versucht, viele hilfreiche Informationen zu geben. Ihrem Restauranttipp in Torre Vado unbedingt folgen! Es war sehr lecker. Wir waren Anfang Oktober dort und konnten morgens noch draußen auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Abends war es dann doch zu kühl (und leider zu viele Mücken;)). Wenn man vorhat, sich häufiger selbst zu verpflegen, sollte man vielleicht wichtige Dinge mitbringen wie bspw. ein scharfes Messer o. Ä. Die Küche ist insgesamt sehr klein. Ansonsten wird Maria sicherlich aushelfen können. Bei uns fehlte z. B. der Fön, den Maria dann sofort besorgt hat. Mit den Bettmatratzen hatten wir so unsere Schwierigkeiten, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Der Strand ist in unseren Augen nicht fußläufig, wenn man an einen schönen Sandstrand denkt. Runter zum Meer läuft man ca. 10 Minuten von der Ferienwohnung aus, aber dort sind nur Felsen. Zum Sandstrand braucht man ein Auto. Und Achtung, der Weg von der Ferienwohnung zum Meer ist rückläufig mit einem ordentlichen Anstieg verbunden. Alles in allem eine schöne Ferienwohnung, von der aus man den "Hacken Italiens" gut erkunden kann.

Vacanza da sogno

Grazie a Maria e i suoi suoceri ci siamo sentiti meglio che a casa, ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno e ci hanno coccolato per tutto il tempo che abbiamo passato nella loro casa. La casa è molto bella ed è presente tutto ciò che serve per una vacanza confortevole. Si trova in posizione strategica se amate la tranquillità, ma a 5 minuti dal lungo mare e 10 minuti dalle migliori spiagge del Salento.

Mare, Sole e Vento... Sublime

Proprietaria squisita. La posizione vicina alle più belle spiagge del Salento, ne fanno una sistemazione ideale per chi desidera vivere intensamente le bellezze di questo posto. Grazie ancora per questa meravigliosa vacanza.

Schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Garten

Gepflegte, neu renovierte Wohnung mit allem, was man für seinen Urlaub benötigt. Das Highlight ist aber der Garten, in dem man die Tage wunderschön ausklingen lassen kann. Strand in Laufreichweite.

Torre Vado holiday review

Nice apartment with garden and secure for our 2 dogs. About a 10 min walk to center of small town and a further 10 mins to a lovely sandy free beach. Nice promenade in town for walking and we found several very nice restaurants. We had a lovely chilled out week spent on the beach and swimming and also went on a small boat trip to see some sea caves. Only downside is that the WiFi was a little poor in strength.

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful jewel of a place. The villa is extremely clean and tidy and offers all you will need for a quiet vacation. The gardens are an idyllic oasis boasting lots of mature fruit trees, whilst the patio area is a delight for those early evening BBQs. In the mornings I used the hammock whilst reading my book surrounded by privacy and tranquillity as the sun tips over the edge to greet you with just the right amount of shade. The location of the property was ideal with a short walk to the sea, bars and restaurants and the two super markets which are located on the Torre Vado coastal road, where fresh fish, fruit and veg can be purchased. The beaches are just amazing and the majority of our days were spent relaxing on the wonderful sandy beach which extends as far as the eye can see. Early evening cocktails at one the bars located on the beach and then back to the villa for a BBQ, just Perfect! I would highly recommend this place to anybody, Maria was the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble, this lady really made us feel so welcome, part of the famiglia.... Thank you Maria la mia traduzione google italiana Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno in questo meraviglioso gioiello di un posto. La villa è estremamente pulita e ordinata e offre tutto il necessario per una vacanza tranquilla. I giardini sono un'oasi idilliaca che vanta un sacco di alberi da frutto maturi, mentre la zona patio è una delizia per quei primi barbecue serali. Al mattino ho usato l'amaca mentre leggevo il mio libro circondato dalla privacy e dalla tranquillità come il sole suggerisce oltre il bordo per salutare con la giusta quantità di ombra. La posizione dell'albergo era ideale con una breve passeggiata per il mare, i bar ei ristoranti ei due supermercati che si trovano sulla strada costiera di Torre Vado, dove si possono acquistare pesce fresco, frutta e verdura. Le spiagge sono semplicemente incredibili e la maggior parte dei nostri giorni sono stati trascorsi rilassanti sulla meravigliosa spiaggia sabbiosa che si estende per quanto l'occhio può vedere. Cocktail di sera all'inizio di uno dei bar situati sulla spiaggia e poi di nuovo alla villa per un barbecue, solo perfetto! Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque, Maria era l'ospite perfetto e niente è troppo disturbo, questa signora ci ha fatto davvero sentire i benvenuti, parte della famiglia .... Grazie Maria

Pienamente soddisfatto.

Incantevole soggiorno in un posto magico, pienamente soddisfatti dell'alloggio situato in punto strategico per poter visitare incantevoli spiagge. Ringraziamo la signora Ciardo per i consigli gastronomici, sperando di poter tornare presto a visitare queste splendide terre.
