Villa Vanaki - Beachfront Villa 4BR w/ AC

  • Villa Vanaki has an amazing open floor plan and huge sliding windows that open almost entirely to the outdoor area. You’ll feel a sense of being outdoor while indoor in order to full enjoy the tropical lifestyle.

    For sleeping, Villa Vanaki is composed of 4 bedrooms, 2 on the ground floor, 2 on the 1st floor and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms all located on the ground floor. One of the upstairs bedroom is only accessible through a staircase located in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor so in order to go up to that bedroom, you have to go through the bedroom on the ground floor. Also this specific bedroom although great for older kids, doesn't have an actual door so privacy is limited. All bedrooms have king size beds and are equipped with A/C. Both bedrooms on the 1st floor have a unique view of the lagoon from the dormer windows and guests will get to wake up to the vibrant colors of the lagoon.

    For relaxing, you will find an outdoor sitting area facing the lagoon, as well as an indoor lounge with a TV and a big sofa. Lounge chairs are available as well in the garden to enjoy the sun rays. 3 kayaks are also available to go explore the lagoon and its inhabitants.

    For dining, Villa Vanaki has a fully equipped kitchen with brand new, state of the art appliances. Perfect to cook all of your favorite meals in the comfort of your home away from home. 2 big dining tables are at your disposal, one indoor, one outdoor on the terrace. Also, a barbecue is at your disposal.

    The Location
    Villa Vanaki is located on the outskirts of the village of Haapiti, in a smaller village called Varari. Varari is known to be residential compared to the most touristy areas of Haapiti. However, Varari is close enough to all the shops and restaurants of Haapiti and also far enough from the hustle and bustle that can be found on the public beaches on the weekends. You are guaranteed to have the beach to yourself most days.

    More conveniently, a great little grocery store is located within a 2min walk from the villa.

This is my second year staying at Villa Vanaki and I absolutely love it. The place is modern, clean, beautiful view, the staff is very attentive and friendly, I absolutely love everything about the villa and the service.

Villa très bien placée , accessible en bateau . Calme absolu, très belle plage et baignade . Très belle terrasse couverte pour passer des moments conviviaux . Nous avons adoré l’emplacement, la fonctionnalité de la maison et la réactivité de l’agence . Petit bémol : le barbecue était hors service et cuisine très petite pour cuisiner pour 8 . Mais cadre et lagon superbe , literie très confortable , 4 kayaks à disposition . Nous reviendrons très certainement.

Wonderful property

We were a three generation family of nine people who thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The house was absolutely spotless and had wonderful linens and towels. There was plenty of cooking equipment to cook in the kitchen and many places to sit and relax. We use the kayaks and snorkel right off the beach. It was truly relaxing and the sunsets were so beautiful. We ate in almost every night. We want to come back again. Thank you.

Absolutely stunning beachfront villa with the reef right outside—perfect for kayaking and exploring the lagoon. The property is ideal for families, quiet and safe for kids to roam around freely, and the owners and Ohana team are incredibly kind and responsive. Great location with a market just across the street and plenty of great restaurant options within a short drive. Villa Vanaki is the perfect base for a trip to Moorea—whether you’re hanging out at the house enjoying quality time together or exploring around the island, everything works perfectly. We loved every moment here and we’re already dreaming about when we can come back.

This villa is perfectly designed for a beach holiday, we visited in July and had the doors open most of the day. Very quiet away from the main road, yet conveniently located for visiting tourist attractions, restaurants, and to access hiking trails. The kitchen made it easy to prepare meals at home, and the little shop 2 minutes walk away is well-stocked. Great WiFi and TV. We loved the kayaks and we brought our own SUP for exploring the lagoon. Perfect for us, a family of 6.

The property is enchanting with its ocean view and accessibility. If you’re planning on using the kitchen facilities, bring your own food storage. Toilet paper Tahiti is very small rules so we always bring our own from home. We also bring our own laundry pods and trash bags.

Moorea Dream House in Paradise Rental

Our time spent at Villa Vanaki was amazing. The house is in fantastic condition and has a great layout. Everything is super convenient and it easily accommodated our family of five. The beach and reef out front of the house is full of sea life. Between that and the grocery store across the street, you can never leave the property and still have an amazing, active vacation. I highly recommend this property.

Villa Vanaki is a wonderful retreat

Our family of 6 enjoyed our one week stay in June 2025. We found the location perfect - very quiet and away from the more visited part of the island. The house and yard allowed us space for gathering and also places for contemplation and quiet. The lagoon is so beautiful! We made good use of the Salva Magasin just across the road and had some very tasty meals at Cantine Chez Papi. It was fun to see the locals at the Saturday live music event there. Neighbor Ben was an endless source of food and knowledge about the fauna in the lagoon. Nicest dogs too! Thank you and we hope to return.

Un séjour de rêve !

La Villa Vanaki a comblé nos attentes. Villa luxueuse, meublée avec beaucoup de goût, idéale pour un séjour de grande qualité. Rien n'a manqué. Elle n'a rien à envier aux fleurons de l'hôtellerie locale, tant par la qualité des prestations proposées que par sa situation géographique. Seul point négatif du séjour : ne pas avoir pu rester davantage au sein de cette merveille !

Georgia’s home, beautiful location!

We just finished our stay here and we were very pleased! It was right on the water which was so fun to kayak in and just sit and listen to the waves crash in the distance. All the sleeping areas have air conditioning and the rooms were very comfortable. The home was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We are really happy with our decision to stay here. Just a note is that the ocean right in front of the house is not swimmable. Lots of coral and rocks so at high tide kayaking is wonderful.

Wonderful stay. Our only complaint was the last night the power breaker kept getting tripped requiring us to walk out to the main road to reset it. Happened about 5 times on out last night. But other than that everything else was perfect and would definitely return.

House was very clean. Updated place. All 4 bedrooms had AC. Snorkeling was excellent right in front of house. When tide is out it does get very low. Don’t use the pin drop for directions. Turn across from Salva market, then first left and you will see the house sign shortly. Was very satisfied with the whole experience.

Villa Vanaki is an absolute gem of a property! Nestled right by the sea, it offers the most breathtaking views and an unbeatable location. The villa itself is fabulous—newly built, with beautifully designed rooms that feel both luxurious and inviting. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you could possibly need, making it easy to feel at home from the very first moment. One of the highlights is the garden, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet breakfast or a social bbq while soaking in the sea breeze. The area of the island where Villa Vanaki is located is truly special—peaceful, charming, and close to everything you might want to explore. What really sets this place apart, though, is the wonderful sense of community. The neighbours are incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’s easy to make friends for life. This is more than just a holiday rental—it’s a place where unforgettable memories are made. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay and location

Clean home with comfortable beds and such a nice location on the water. It’s a reefy type beach/ atoll and it’s not very suitable for barefoot swimming, but great to snorkel or kayak in. House was spotless and clean, and designed very nice. One of the small upstairs bedrooms does not have AC and it got extremely hot up there, also bathrooms have no ventilation, so these are only downsides. There is a little market down the street we walked to in the AM to get baguettes and croissants for breakfast. The host was very kind, attentive, and super responsive. Everything we needed was on site and our group was very happy with the home and our stay. We will be more than happy to return.
