Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. "This is a superb hotel I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved that they served the hot breakfast to your table and the food both dinner in the bar and breakfast In the restaurant were piping hot and delicious. Bedroom was spacious. Warm and comfortable. I totally recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again. "

"Room very dark due to poor lighting. Had chicken red Thai curry in the restaurant however there was large chucks of aubergine which were quite bitter. I have never had a Thai dish with that and wasn’t expecting it. There was an odour from the floor too which wasn’t pleasant. "

"Family atmosphere and friendly front desk staff! Several meals in the restaurant. Really enjoyed the BEEF BOURGUIGNON and I have to admitted I took my dessert of Creme’ Brûlée to my room two nights in a row! Delicious!!! Very accessible to the Glendalough Monastic Site and the many hiking trails in Wicklow Mountains National Park. A bit off season so staff were seen working in all areas…great people! Loved my cozy corner room with a desk and really comfy bed! Happy 55th Birthday to me -2026!"
