This 4 bedrooms + 4 full bathrooms Plateau Mont-Royal apartment offers a fully stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, a 250 sqft rooftop terrace, high-speed internet, and so much more.

It's ideal for a business trip, a conference, or to celebrate a special occasion amongst friends and family.

Le Plateau Mont-Royal is one of the most popular and vibrant places to stay in Montreal with plenty of shops and cafés, and "mom and pop" stores. This apartment is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, shopping, theaters, and so much more. You will not need a car unless it is extremely cold outside.

In terms of parking...
Some free street parking can be found at times on the surrounding streets, but guests will need to be careful with the complicated signage that is in French only.

For this reason, we highly recommend using the closest indoor parking garage which is located at 400 rue de Malines.

Taxis or Uber are also easily found in Montreal.

OTHER NOTES:

- We do not recommend you rent this apartment is you have young toddlers or children since the inside staircase in unprotected. If you decide to rent it regardless, you do so at your own risk.

- There are 15 stairs to climb on the outside staircase and another 20 inside before reaching the apartment.

- This apartment has 1 indoor camera located in the entrance foyer (facing the front street door for break-in prevention only.) No live feed and no view inside the apartment. There is also a camera downstairs, in the service staircase, facing the door opening to the back lane. Again, this is for break-in prevention only. Lastly, there are 2 cameras in the storage area of the basement (which is not meant to be accessible to guests) to prevent theft.

- Once you book this space, you will have access to the whole apartment and to the rooftop terrace. You will NOT have access to the courtyard. This is reserved for those renting the ground floor and should be accessed in case of emergency only.

- You will receive an SMS once VRBO confirms your reservation. It will ask you to reconfirm your phone number and to send us your means of travel.

- You must be at least 25 years of age to book this apartment. Anyone under the age of 21 not accompanied by a parent will need to provide the parent's or legal guardian's consent in writing.

- No 3rd party reservations will be accepted. The person making the reservation must be present during the stay, but doesn't need to be the 1st to arrive.

- We charge a high cleaning fee only to save our guests on taxes. The real cleaning fee is much lower. For this reason, you will be asked to perform a few simple tasks at checkout. We ask that you please load the dishwasher and start it, that you gather your garbage, seal the bags, and bring them to the back alley, and that you put the WHITE towels ONLY in the laundry machine and start it (the detergent is provided).
Our cleaning staff will take care of the beds (we like to spray them before washing) and everything else.

- Luggage can NOT be dropped off before check-in or left in the apartment after check-out. Our staff will not clean if guests' personal belongings are in the apartment.

- Early check-in and late check-out requests will be considered based on staff availability and will cost $60. If the request comes less than 10 days before check-in, the cost will rise to $150. The new check-in time will be 3 pm and the new check-out time will be 1 pm.

- *We reserve the right to charge between $100 and $300 + tx to anyone not performing the required checkout tasks or to anyone leaving after the agreed-upon checkout time.

- There are NO regular TV channels other than the Samsung TV channels, but you can use your accounts for streaming services.

- It is important to note that travel insurance should be purchased by all travellers to protect personal belongings and last-minute trip cancellations or interruptions. Please look into it before you book any trip around the world.

- We have all the permits necessary to rent short-term in our city. We are certified by the Quebec Tourism Board and are a registered business in the province of Quebec. We can provide receipts and tax numbers upon request. We can also provide separate bills for other corporate rentals upon request.

- In addition to the pack-and-play, we can provide a standard crib, but it must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance.
A $50 + tx fee will be applied for assembly and preparation upon arrival.

- With the rise of car theft in Montreal, anyone driving in should consider bringing a steering wheel lock bar or any other device that could keep the car from driving away (like a car boot). Anyone driving SUVs, especially Toyota Highlander, Honda CRV, any type of Lexus, Jeep (all kinds), Pickup trucks, or Toyota Rav4 Hybrid, are encouraged to use indoor lots (the closest is located at 400 rue de Malines, a 2-minute walk).
As a courtesy, we have a steering wheel bar available that guests can borrow.

- **FAB HomeRentals will not be held responsible for any thefts, incidentals, or anything "parking related" **. By renting our apartment or our parking, guests acknowledge that they understand and agree to these terms.

- We cannot ship any items left behind after checkout.

- Non-smoking policy: Cigarettes and cigars are tolerated only if smoked OUTSIDE. Marijuana is NOT permitted on the premises, not even on the front terrace. When smoking outside, please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.

- Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 9 am. Music will be tolerated between 9 am and 10 pm, provided the neighbours do not complain.

- Loud parties are not permitted. If a noise complaint comes up, VRBO will be immediately notified, and guests could be asked to leave.

- Pets are not permitted on the premises. Neighbouring pets are also not allowed in the apartment.

- Movie rentals are not permitted without prior approval, but will be possible if paid for in advance.

- A new & larger fun yellow sofa was recently installed in the unit, replacing the previous grey one. Photos have yet to be updated. We have also added 2 new, navy blue, winged armchairs for your seating pleasure.

Good Friends together in Montreal

The apartment was terrific, comfy beds, fluffy towels, full kitchen! The location was great, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and points of interest. Frederique and her team were very helpful when we had questions, easy check-in too. Very nice stay! Would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect Place for Montreal Stay

We stayed 3 nights in June at this wonderful location. Very clean and tidy. It was well stocked with towels, shampoo and soap as well as kitchen items. The four of us were very comfortable and slept well on the mattresses. The neighborhood was very quiet, but within walking distance of several markets and restaurants. All the areas of Montreal that we wanted to visit were within walking distance or a short UBER away. We contacted the owners a couple of times to ask for an adjustment to the air conditioning and the response was timely and our request handled. I highly recommend this lodging. Everything was exactly as advertised and included good lighting throughout the unit.

A girl’s week of fun in a Montreal apartments!

We were delighted with the apartment furnishings, the attention to even the small details, and the abundance of space for 4 friends taking in the city. The rooftop was an amazing way to take in Mont Royale and the neighbourhood. Our hostess Frederique exceeded all expectations in helping us find shopping venues, and providing service above and beyond. Frederique responded immediately and we so appreciated everything she did for us! This is definitely an apartment that others will love as much as we did. There are stairs to navigate, but what waits at the top made it all worthwhile. Thanks for your beautiful apartment, Frederique! We hope to be back.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this property. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds and bed/bath linens. The location is in a vibrant area with so many restaurants and stores to walk to, but close enough to the downtown area for a quick Uber. Roof top terrace was incredible. Clear instructions for check in and check out. Host was quick to respond to questions leading up to the trip. I can’t wait to book again!!

Très bien situé, très propre et décoré avec goût et attention, ce logement était extraordinaire! We had a fantastic time in Montreal and loved this property. Communication with the owners was timely, informative and so helpful. The property itself was perfect for us. It is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. We enjoyed having 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. The place was immaculate and super well-stocked. The roof top deck was a nice bonus--a great spot for wine and cheese at sunset. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great 1st trip w/ family in Montreal, for 4 nights. Listing and options for parking as described. Apartment is close to everything: restaurants, local donut shop (highly recommend; down the block), metro, thrift shops, etc. Really loved the 4 bathrooms, each with multiple jet settings! A spa perk. Kitchen had sugar+salt+condiments and caffeine options in addition to all the kitchenware you'd need to make a meal in the apt if desired. Would definitely VRBO here again!

Great for groups!

Everyone having their own en suite bathrooms was SUCH a game changer. Made our stay so much more comfortable that we could all retreat for a bit to relax when needed, and the common spaces were also great for hanging out. Very cute neighborhood with lots of great restaurants in walking distance, and we loved the coffeeshop on the corner. Definitely recommend!

Perfect in every way!

My family of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is extremely clean and very well appointed. Each bedroom has an ensuite bath and the spa showers were a highlight! We loved the location - a charming and safe neighborhood with so many terrific restaurants. We didn't use any of the three (!) coffee makers in the kitchen because it was so nice to walk to a coffee shop for a delicious latte and croissant. Two standouts that I feel are worth mentioning: the digital guidebook thoughtfully created by the hosts was incredibly helpful for us in planning our visit. Loads of really good info and we referred to it often before and during our vacation. Every property has some sort of binder to flip through once you check in, but to have a comprehensive "app" on your phone that is easy to navigate is a step above what I would expect from a host. Frederique, the host, was prompt in answering my questions. She reached out to make sure everything was satisfactory and we appreciated that. While we didn't need any assistance during our stay, we felt at ease knowing she was reachable at any time. Overwhelmingly positive, this is the type of vrbo experience that I will measure future bookings against.

Gracious and Spacious!!

From the attractive listing that caught my eye initially, to the attentive communication with our hosts, right through the check-in and arrival process, everything was top-shelf, completely accurate, and just fabulous. The apartment is divine, modern and spacious, and well appointed - four large bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, generous kitchen and living area space (and did I mention the rooftop terrace?!!) - and in a great location. The neighborhood has dozens of restaurants, pastry shops, and grocery and liquor options. The hosts have put together an electronic guide book that includes information on everything one would ever need to know, and then some... incredibly helpful. We wanted for nothing! I highly, highly recommend!!

FAB's apartment in the Le Plateau area of Montreal was terrific. There was plenty of room for two couples. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was convenient to Old City, the Museum of Fine Arts, Leonard Cohen mural, markets, etc. Frederique was immediately responsive and very accommodating. Fabulous!

This is a great apartment! Every person in our group made separate comments about how wonderful a place this was. It’s in a great location, walking distance to Old Montreal, Mile End, Mont Royal, etc. There are also lots of local restaurants and coffee shops if you don’t want to go far. The apartment is wonderful, especially the rooftop terrace! If I made one recommendation it would be to have an extra comfy chair in the living room. We were a group of 8 and it would have made it a bit easier to all sit around together, though it wasn’t a big deal. Communication with the owners was great, with lots of helpful information. We would highly recommend it!! Would definitely stay again next time we are in Montreal!

This apartment was just perfect for our family of 6. Sounds funny to say it, but the bathrooms were a highlight of the stay! Everyone loved having a bathroom connected to each room and the spa showers. The apartment was clean and comfortable and was a close walk to the metro. We got a 3-day pass while we were there and took the train everywhere. There are great bakeries and restaurants right down the street as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Les Femmes Vacation

Everything was great about the property, though we were a bit daunted by the stairs when we first arrived with luggage. The neighborhood was lovely with so many things to do and with the metro so close we spent a lot of time in Vieux Montreal. We had a couple of great walking tours, too. The apartment was a great refuge when we had a long day and just wanted to put our feet up with a bottle of wine and talk about everything we saw.
