Big studio in a great location

I had a wonderful stay at this property. I knew I wanted to be in this location because I had stayed in the area previously; this studio is a quick walk away from the Mont-Royal metro. The property was well-equipped with a small fridge, microwave, dishes, a dining table, seating area, and plenty of towels. I was pleasantly surprised at how large it was. The balcony overlooks a cute little playground. The only issue was the bathtub did not really drain well and is hard to get in and out of because it's a claw-foot tub. The mattress is also VERY firm. The host was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. I would definitely come back!

Mount Royal

Great location, responsive host, and easy check-in. The studio is in good shape, but the building itself (stairs) needs renovation. We used the washer because that was included in the studio description. It was confusing that the house manual stated that we could not use the washer.

Convenient and Quaint Loft

Perfect location in a safe neighborhood. Missing some American conveniences such as A/C, dryer, kitchen oven, and outlets in the bathroom but did not take away from our stay, just good to know in advance. The nearby metro stop couldn't be more convenient, would advise public transit over street parking. I plan to recommend this VRBO to others!

Charming apartment and neighborhood

This is a compact but charming apartment. There is a a small balcony overlooking a neighborhood park with playground. The Metro station and a vibrant street pedestrianized for the summer are a short walk away.

Happy Cozy Pad in Best Neighborhood

We loved our stay and will definitely return the next time we are in Montreal! My husband and I came with our 17 year old daughter to visit McGill University, where she has been admitted. The apartment is a 3-minute walk to the metro and then an easy ride to the McGill campus. It has many good restaurants within quick walking distance yet is blissfully quiet for sleeping. (Renters need to be able to walk up one flight of stairs.) The manager is one of the best we’ve ever had. He responds immediately and accommodates every request very quickly. We were able to rent a second apartment from him so that our daughter could have her own space, as the apartment is best suited to 2 people. The décor is very charming, cozy, bright and airy. The lay-out is practical and the owner thought about many details that add character — much nicer than the standard generic rental! We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and have already told our other McGill parent friends to stay there!

Wonderful - easy access across city!

This was a wonderful place, perfect for my fiance and I! It is SO close to a metro line but you would have no idea externally (cute, quiet clean neighborhood) but it is SO convenient!! We were able to walk around the nearby astreets for bars, restaurants, coffee/bagels/cafes but also hop on the train to head to Old Montreal and the hockey game. Place was cute, clean and comfortable. Will definitely want to stay here again for our next visit!

Charming and walkable!

When I saw the pictures I reckoned I had found a classic Montreal apartment, and it was. Bright and airy, we enjoyed the sun streaming in the windows, and the view directly opposite a park. Comfortable and stylishly furnished. Other notes: - Second floor, one flight of stairs. - Street parking found nearby no problem. - Fantastic location, so central to everything. Mont-Royal avenue, two short blocks south, has the Metro right there, and every dining and shopping opportunity you could desire. This is the heart of the Plateau. - It is a large 1 1/2 (studio) apartment, thus a galley kitchen with hot plate, microwave and bar sized fridge. (With all the neighbourhood restaurants, you won’t want to cook anyway :) - Lovely old-fashioned tub in the bathroom. - Owner was kind, and responded very promptly to all inquiries. - Key pick up was a lock box around the corner. The address in the “here are your keys” email from VRBO is not the address of the apartment, but of where you will find the lock box. Owner will message you all needed info.

Cute place great neighborhood

Perfect location - walkable to the park & mile end neighborhood; a block from the subway. Was able to find parking a block or two away. Cute studio space - perfect for a long weekend for two. Would definitely stay here again!
